7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People
7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People
With a twist to the common list of habits that are useful to establish, here are 7 habits that you do best to avoid.
Just like finding habits that can be useful for you it's important to find habits that are holding you back. Most of these 7 habits can easily become such
a normal, everyday part of life that you hardly notice it (or how it's affecting you). I've dabbled with all of them quite a bit. Not surprisingly I didn't get
much of the important stuff done. IВґd also like to add that these are just 7 broad habits you can establish to become highly ineffective in most parts
of your life. I pretty sure there are several more. 1. Not showing up.
Maybe you've heard this quote by Woody Allen:... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is nothing wrong with thinking before you do something. Do some research, make a plan, explore potential upsides and problems.
But compulsively thinking and thinking and thinking is just another way to waste your time. You don't have to examine everything from every angle
before you try it. And you can't wait for the perfect time to do something. That time never comes. And if you keep thinking you'll just dig yourself
down deeper and deeper and taking action will become more and more difficult. Instead you just need to stop thinking. Shut of your mind – it just helps
you up to a point – and go do whatever you need to do. 5. Seeing the negative and downsides in just about anything.
When you see everything from a negative perspective you quickly punch a hole in your own motivation. You find faults everywhere and problems
where there are really none. You cling to details. If youwant to find a reason to not do something then that's no problem. From a negative viewpoint you
can find ten reasons every time.
And so very little gets done, you whine to anyone who wants to hear – and many who don't – about how crappy your job, life and boss is. Which
becomes a self–fulfilling prophecy as you create the life that is appropriate considering how think and see your world.
A solution is to realise the limits of a negative perspective. And that your perspective isn't some kind of 100% true picture of the world. Then try other
perspectives. For instance,

Persuasive Reflection Paper
I never really thought about the problem that was going on until it happened to me, it was a block hour at my old school classes 6–12th grade were
together. It was a normal day just like every other, we did everything we were supposed to. We all gathered in the gym to do our group study thing that
we always did on Thursday.
We were asked to stand up to do the pledge, when suddenly, I noticed that some people were not standing. When it was over, we sat back down and I
turned to my friend and asked what was going on and asked why they did not stand, she looked at me and said that it was because of the Black Lives
Matter thing that was going on and because Colin Kaepernick had kneeled during the anthem. I really didn't know how to feel, I was more upset
than anything because I was always taught to stand for the pledge and respect the flag cause many people have fought and risked their lives for it
everyday. People were disrespecting it for a reason they don't even know simply because they saw it on T.V. and want to join the bandwagon. I went
to my principal after that and told her what had happen and how I didn't think it was right. Therefore, the next day when I came to school they were all
dressed in black and were wearing the african garments. I at that point knew what they were doing. They were going to protest in school the whole
day. I was getting really dirty looks and things were said behind my back, but I wasn't the only one. Another girl also had several things said

I have always had a taste for adventure. In year 3, I did a hike to Mt Feathertop. We were in Beechworth near Wangaratta when our cousins had come
back from doing a hike to the mountain. We thought it was a good idea to do it because we had done many mini hikes and wanted a challenge. The
TV character Winnie the Pooh said, "As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen." It is so powerful because when you watch
Winnie the Pooh, you notice that he is a character that is all about adventuring. Stop recording.
A couple of months later, we returned to do the hike. As we were driving, looking up to the mountain I wondered, would I make it? As I started, the

Analysis Of Melba Beals 's ' Warriors Don 't Cry '
Melba Beals was certainly full of grit. When she insisted to go back to school after segregationists were trying to keep her out the school, but she
still insisted on going back to school to finish all her classes and take her final exams. Even after all those people told her to get out; and she finished
high school with pride. When Melba showed her grit later on people started encouraging her more saying she's doing a great thing for this town (Beals
224). I thought this anecdote was important because it shows an example of how grit is used in the right context. The journey archetype means a
recurrent image, symbol, or even a situation that instinctual expressions man 's nature and experiences that are universal in humanity. Whileself–identity
means the recognition of one 's potential and qualities of as an individual. People 's traits impact who they are as a person because if they have poorly
traits they'll show that in the way they act same thing for the good traits. Melba Beals' "Warriors Don't Cry," "Homer's "TheOdyssey," and my own life
reveal that our characters traits have an impact on our life journeys and self identities.
To begin, both Melba Beals and Penelope's lives were positively impacted by their character strengths; Penelope's hope kept the suitors off her, while
Melba's grit made her complete and integrate Central High. Hope in my opinion is to expect the best in the future no matter the odds or situation.
While grit is to finish what one starts no

Theme Of Oedipus Complex By Paul Morel
Since the day of publication, it has been a tendency to approach Sons and Lovers (1913)primarily as the story of a victim of 'Oedipus Complex'.
The hero, Paul Morel, is very often looked upon, as the title suggests, merely as a son; not as a normal human being. Whatever problems crop up in
the life of Paul Morel has been addressed as the reason of his 'mother– fixation'. Whenever someone strives to examine the character or personae of
Paul Morel, the Oedipus complex looms large and everything else, if there is any, fades away. Because of this one–dimensional attitude, it is scarcely
kept in mind that Paul Morel, besides his 'mother–fixation', does posses another identity no less important than his identity of a son; the identity that

From his mother he drew the life warmth, the strength to produce; Miriam urged this warmth into intensity like a white light.28

A New Earth : Awakening
1. Life is full of complex emotions to ordinary humankind. With the accumulation of sentiments, people's mind will barely afford the emotional
fluctuations. Hence, ego comes up and temporarily mitigates the pain by offering misleading identifications. In the mean time, a rational thinking of
the essence will lead people to a way of awakening. Through the combination of objective analysis with reasonable treatment to objects, people will
get rid of those subjective perspectives made by the ego. In the book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose,Eckhart Tolle indicates the
concept of ego and the entity of life purpose, and then he emphasizes the importance of awareness and arouses our intelligence. The primary factor in
creation is consciousness. Once people realize and accept to be the awareness behind the surface of thoughts and emotions, peace and true happiness
will follow.
2. The ego comes from the illusory self and the identification with external form of the world. Ego always needs more sufferings to strengthen itself
and it becomes the source of human pain body. A child may cry when someone takes away his toy, no matter he's rich or poor, no matter that toy is a
stuffed toy or a high–tech electronic product. People make identification with objects. "More I have, more I am" seems to be the norm of society. The
pain of loss is not different because the feeling of anguish derives from the misconception of "I" or "my". The ego identifies with possession. The

Creative Story : A Short Story
"The After" "Run! Trav there gaining on us!" screamed Aaron. The tall, 17 year old boy, with dark brown hair was what seemed like miles in front
of Travis, his younger brother, even carrying all the supplies for 3 people. Travis, looking back every couple of seconds, weakly yelled "Wait Arron to
the right that should take u– us back!" Arron took a sharp right into an alley way. He tackled the few biters that were in the way to clear a path so his
brother could get through safely. "Righ– no go left! Your left!" After following his brother's directions they made it back to the main road where there
dad was waiting, screaming, with the window down for them to hurry. Arron threw the large duffel bags into the back of his dads old, 2 door,
2000 Dodge Dakota with the dented hood. Travis bolted around the truck to the opened door on the other side and leaped to safety while, Arron
hopped in the back and tapped the top of the truck 3 times signaling to his dad it was okay to go. Immediately after they speed away down the
highway littered with crashed cars, corpses, abandoned suitcases, and much more. Aaron let out a deep breath and sat with his arm perched on the
side of the truck as he watched as the horde of zombies faded away. He slid around the cooler and pulled out a Gatorade, wiping away the water
that dripped from the bottle, with the bottom of his ACDC shirt. He slid open the back glass of the truck and handed it to Travis. His dad glared at

father's comment by saying, "We just ran from Walton's Market to here in under 8 minutes. He's only 10 and was carrying a bag larger them him for
half of the time till he asked if I could carry it while you were playing getaway car." Aaron could see his dad's eyes glairing into his in the rear view
mirror. He quickly shut the window and turned with his back facing the glass. "It's been 4 weeks since we last went on a run," sighed Arron, "it's
starting to show. We can probably only last a week more or less." He said while cleaning his 38. "What are you doing with that?" scoffed his dad. Arron

Main Idea Of Jesus As Messiah Essay
MAIN IDEA & OUTLINE
Main Idea
Jesus as Messiah serves as both High Priest and Mediator for all believers. This role is established in the New Covenant that He created through His
sacrifice and by His blood. His sacrifice and role as priesthood are both superior to any preceding, and are permanent in nature.
Outline
1. Jesus as Messiah 9:11
2. Jesus as High Priest 9:12–13
3. Superiority of priesthood of Jesus 9:14
4. Jesus is our Mediator Hebrews 9:15–20
INTRODUCTION Starting in Chapter 3 of Hebrews, the author begins talking about Jesus as High Priest, including its relation to the order of
Melchizedek, and the Heavenly nature of His priesthood. He has also related the role of Jesus as High Priest to His Covenant that was created by
His death through His blood. Now, in Chapter 9, the author is explaining the relation between the earthly priesthood of the Old Covenant, and the
Heavenly priesthood of Jesus in the New Covenant. At this time, Jews were still offering sacrifices and viewing the presence of God as one visited in
the tabernacle on earth. The Hebrew author is stating here, beginning in verse 11, that Jesus ' priesthood will not serve in the earthly tabernacle, but He
will serve in the Heavenly tabernacle and enter into the presence of God there. The author then explains the difference between the earthly and
Heavenly priesthood, and why the Heavenly priesthood is superior.

Essay on The Duel Between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton
In the battle between Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton was one of the most famous duels in the early 19th century. Both men were very significant
political leaders of the United States. The men had clashes throughout the 1790's which lead to a duel between the two and Alexander Hamilton lost his
life. Aaron Burr was born in New Jersey in 1756. He was involved in many political events though out his life. He was the second president of
Princeton, and he was the grandson of Jonathon Edwards. This man had politics woven all through him. While at the college of New Jersey, which
later became Princeton, Burr was studying theology, but he quickly switched his degree to law. Aaron Burr also served sometime in the military,

However, he was even more outstanding in George Washington's eye. In this era, being outstanding in Washington's eye was substantially magnificent.
Hamilton married a young lady by the name of Elizabeth Schuyler; she was the daughter of a general. This put Alexander Hamilton in the middle of
New York's politics. In 1782, Hamilton was elected to the Continental Congress. As Alexander Hamilton's political career began to get under way,
things seem to be going as planned. He played a major role in the constitution. He was one of America's first Constitutional lawyers, and wrote most
of the Federalist Papers, a primary source for Constitutional interpretation. He was perhaps the best lawyer in America at the time of his death and
his views were remarkably consistent and coherent. He also had a clear vision of the new nation and believed that it could learn much from British
economic policy and governmental practice. Since he played such a major role in the Constitution Convention, he obviously was going to serve a
major role in the new government. He proved himself a brilliant administrator both in organizing the Treasury Department and in assisting generally to
set guidelines for and staff all the departments of government. He proposed, to pay the nation's debts in full and also to assume the unpaid debts of the
various states. In his later years, he was a strong member of the

have done many things, if I could be a petit percent of what he is. But let's start to describe the way that Arron looks like. At first sight, you could see
that he doesn't care about his clothes; however, when you will know him, you could notice that he dresses all kinds different cheap informal clothes

Analysis Of Aaron Burr And Alexander Hamilton
The Oval Office symbolizes the government whenever public judgement casts the governmental system in negative or positive light. Arguably, every
presidential administration becomes marked by the supposed corruption that lies within it, for the office is considered the "Room Where It Happens"
(Miranda and McCarter 186). In homage to the times of exclusion and inclusion of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton in this room during the
founding father's era of government, Hamilton: The Revolution, by Lin–Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter, states that "[one] feel[s] like [one has]
been Burr [..] as many times as [one has] been Hamilton" (264). Nevertheless, as Miranda identifies to a greater degree with Hamilton because of
his rags to riches record, my ideologies gravitate towards Burr from experiences in a culture where failure is condemned. Moreover, the eventual
vilification of Burr for his role in Hamilton's demise versus Hamilton's martyrdom for his reckless abandon leads me to identify more with Burr as a
victim of fallacious antagonization than Hamilton as an erroneous martyr based on a single precept: one's reputation stems from a series of public
judgements void of consideration on individual detriment. Dominance acts as a form of dopamine to man's brain: it gives man satisfaction from
superiority and control over supposedly inferior beings. While Hamilton, the immigrant with a lack of wealth and family, climbs up the echelons of the
societal ladder, Burr is forced to

Alexander Hamilton And Thomas Jefferson
Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson were important figures in the creation of America's first Political party system in the 1790's. During 1790's,
Alexander Hamilton became the secretary of the Treasury Department under the first president George Washington and he was a supporter of the
Federalist Party. On the other hand, Thomas Jefferson became the secretary of the state during Washington's presidency. The name of thepolitical party
Jefferson supported was the Republican Party. Republican party was led byJames Madison and Thomas Jefferson. Even Though the name wasn't
invented until 1790 but the parties did exist. The Republican Party that we have now in America isn't the same as the old Republican Party because
today's party is more modern. According to Foner, "Both parties claim the language of liberty, and each accused its opponent of engaging in a
conspiracy to destroy it." (Foner, Give Me Liberty, I, 294). In other words, both parties believe in independence, however, seeing each other as an
enemy makes them think the opposing party is going to involve with other countries or creating a treaty to ruin the liberty. If one party is okay with
something, then, the opponent will definitely go against it. Sometimes, it feels like the politicians do this on purpose to continue with the matter.

Capitalism And A New Social
Capitalism and a New Social Order– The Republican Vision of the1790's
Joyce Appleby
Nathalia Francio Cocenza
As soon as the Federalists and the Republicans figured out that the America's future was at risk, they knew it was time for a change. Hope; this is
what moved the Republicans towards the creation of a new social order. The election of 1800 was very significant for a couple of reasons; it gave
Thomas Jefferson the presidency of the United States, but most importantly, "the election constitutes the first peaceful transfer of power from one
political party to another in the United States" (Thomas). The country changed from being a Federalist nation into a Republican nation. Jefferson
encouraged human rights, believed in a simple ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another essential point in differentiating Republicans from Federalist according to Appleby is their position on the future matter, "whether or not they
expected it to be fundamentally different or basically a continuation of the known" (Appleby). The Republicans believed in capitalism, the commercial
trade with other countries begin to rise, and the grain production becomes really important in the United States because of England's high demand for
it. The Jeffersonian Republicans think that the abundant land should create a population that can sustain itself. Adam Smith's theory of human nature
talks about the men's instinct of improving themselves, and the author emphasizes that as the market improves more people become merchants. Now
people work because they want to and not because they are obligated. Capitalism allowed people to sell their products across the ocean, with all this
money coming in towns are growing faster and beautifully than ever before. New investments in commerce and industry are made. There are rich and
poor, but the majority of the population is consisted of the middle class because of the availability of land. The most important element in the ideology
of the Jeffersonian Republicans is the rejection of the past, they want a future full of opportunities for the following generations. This book is
interesting but I must admit I had a hard time

The Politics Of The Budgetary Process
Historically, incrementalism has characterized public budgeting because at its core, budgeting has evolved: increased and decreased through gradual
stages within the realm of the political arena. The need for this one step at a time type of response, found within incremental budgeting, would have
likely been caused by the known fact that prior to the 1900's public welfare programs, federal, states, and even city spending did not exist in the way
in which is more than obviously observable in today's society simply because America did not employ an actual budgetary system. Therefore, as with
any unchartered territory, it was approached in stages, with caution, a little at a time in response to the growing needs of the public. Aaron Wildavsky
made this case in his book "The politics of the budgetary process," when he pointed out "budgeting is incremental, not comprehensive. The beginning of
wisdom about an agency budget is that it is almost never actively reviewed as a whole every year in the sense of reconsidering the value of all existing
programs as compared to all alternatives. Instead, it is based on last year's budget with special attention given to a narrow range of increases or
decreases." (Wildavsky 1964, p. 15)
Line item budgeting, which categorizes various expenses and places them in list format a document for budgetary purposes, can be associated with
incremental budgeting as means for budget making because once that is done "Statutory or administrative controls

regulation of commerce, and making war."4 Thomas Jefferson's proposition, in comparison, was exceptionally weak and not nearly as well executed as
Hamilton's. As a result, Washington allowed for the bank act to be passed. The difference of opinions, furthermore, expanded beyond the ideas
regarding the Constitution. Later, the very viewpoints which Jefferson argued against in the debate over the bank, were implemented in his plan for the
Louisiana Purchase occurring in 1803.5 Here, Jefferson made a deal with France to purchase, in exchange for fifteen million dollars, territory which
would ultimately double the size of the United States. Although the purchase was extremely successful and dramatically expanded the size of the
United States, Jefferson undermined his very idea of strictly interpreting the Constitution. Through implied powers, Jefferson justified his right to
purchase, "...vast new territories

Essay on The Musical World of Aaron Copland
Aaron Copland was born on November 14th, 1900 in Brooklyn, New York, United States (3). His parents, Harris Morris Copland and Sarah
Mittenthal Copland, were Jewish immigrants from Russia (6). Copland had four older siblings who grew up together. When he was eleven years old,
one of his sisters, Laurine, taught him how to play a piano (3). Laurine also influenced to his musical world by introducing him to ragtime and opera
(6). From 1913 to 1917, he took his first formal piano lessons from Leopold Wolfsohn (3, 6). Wolfsohn introduced him to the pieces of the great
musicians such as Beethoven and Mozart. When he was fifteen, he attended a concert by composer Ignacy Paderewski. The dream of becoming a

During his years at the ACF, he became fascinated with the music of Debussy, Ravel, and Scriabin. At that time, Paris was the center of European
music after World War I. He traveled to Italy, Germany, Austria, and other many European countries to discover and experience various aspects of
European music (6). He attended to numerous concerts and plays during his years in Paris. He featured the works of European modern composers
such as Stravinsky and Milhaud. When Copland completed his studies in 1924, Boulanger requests him to compose a work for her organ performance
(6). Copland composes the Symphony for Organ and Orchestra, which was his first orchestral score. Boulanger played the piece on January 11th, 1925
in New York, United States. Serge Koussevitzsky, who was the conductor of the Boston Symphony, was impressed with Copland's organ symphony and
began to support Copland's works.
After completing the Symphony for Organ and Orchestra, he returned to United States (1). He noticed that there was an artistic rebellion at the New
York City while he was in France. The mindset and the work of musicians in New York became much more progressive. In New York, Copland
joined to the League of Composers. This organization sponsored Copland's first piano performance in United States. Copland performed The Cat and

Resolutions For Amending The Constitution On Election Of...
Resolutions for amending the Constitution on Election of the President, 1800. (Gilder Lehrman Collection)
Nasty political mud–slinging. Campaign attacks and counterattacks. Personal insults. Outrageous newspaper invective. Dire predictions of warfare and
national collapse. Innovative new forms of politicking capitalizing on a growing technology. As much as this seems to describe our present–day
presidential contests, it actually describes an election more than two hundred years past.
The presidential election of 1800 was an angry, dirty, crisis–ridden contest that seemed to threaten the nation's very survival. A bitter partisan battle
between Federalist John Adams and Republican Thomas Jefferson, it produced a tie between Jefferson and his Republican running mate, Aaron Burr; a
deadlock in the House where the tie had to be broken; an outburst of intrigue and suspicion as Federalists struggled to determine a course of action;
Jefferson's election; and Burr's eventual downfall. The unfolding of this crisis tested the new nation's durability. The deadlock in the House revealed a
constitutional defect. It also pushed partisan rivalry to an extreme, inspiring a host of creative and far–reaching electoral ploys. As a sense of crisis
built, there was even talk of disunion and civil war, and indeed, two states began to organize their militias to seize the government if Jefferson did not
prevail.
Oddly enough, this pivotal election has received relatively little scholarly

Analysis Of The Book ' The Pursuit Of A Romance '
The Pursuit to Discover
A.S. Byatt's Possession: A Romance establishes itself as a postmodern university novel because it centers on the field of research and academia
development through a campus setting. Roland Mitchell, the protagonist of the story, is a postdoctoral and literary researcher who is more focused on
academia than job prospects, fixing his crumbling relationship with his girlfriend Val, and overall taking part in mandatory obligations such as
household contribution, that primarily falls on Val. The audience is introduced to Roland as he studies: "The London Library was Roland 's favourite
place. It was shabby but civilised, alive with history but inhabited also by living poets and thinkers who could be found squatting on the slotted metal
floors of the stacks, or arguing pleasantly at the turning of the stair" (4). The novel centers on Roland's discovery of two letters written by fictional
Victorian poets, Randolph Henry Ash and Christabel LaMotte. Roland prides and invests the majority of his time to research and decoding these
letters, in hopes of pursing a top academic standing in his field. Possession focuses on the themes of history, academic pursuit, and the downfalls of an

Suicide : The Causes Of Suicidal Ideation
According to John Harris and Vicky White, suicidal ideation a disorder in which an individual experiences thoughts of suicide. Suicide is defined as a
"deliberate act of causing one's own death". They identify several distinct factors that assist in suicidal thoughts. Individuals who experience
overpowering feelings of hopelessness and depression, alcoholics, substance abusers, those facing financial troubles, and those having difficulties with
social relationships. In Gale Encyclopedia's article, Suicide, the author shares that Americans who have committed suicide, more often than not, have a
major mental illness. Suicidal ideation is linked to bipolar affective disorder, as sufferers from bipolar disorder might experience these suicidal
thoughts. Gale Encyclopedia identifies the concept of diathesis, which is "a medical term for a predisposition that makes some people more
vulnerable to thoughts of suicide." The author explains that, by using a stress/diathesis model, professionals have been attempting to decipher what
makes certain people consider suicide, while others don't. Gale Encyclopedia identifies the following factors in the stress/diathesis model: family
stressors (including divorce and economic hardships), a loss of a socially accepted moral system, the decline of religion and other social groups
outside of the family structure, geographic moves, a greater idealization of suicide in the media, and methods like firearms, tall buildings, and

The Law Of Dharma States
According to Chopra, "The Law of Dharma states that we have taken manifestation in physical form to fulfill a purpose"(Chopra, 1994). Everyone
that is living in this world has a purpose in life, even if they haven 't realized it yet. People all around the world have a reason for being alive. We all
have a specific, unique talent that no one else has, or at least something that we do better than anyone else. Each person has their own unique way
of living in this world and has many ways of doing things, whether it's writing, singing, dancing, painting, speaking, and much more. Most of us
need to rise and stand up to show the world what we are capable of doing. Perhaps by doing this, we will be able to help people around us find their
purpose in life. The reason being is because we would be putting out an example for those who are not ready to begin something in their lives.
Being at home doing nothing but sit around and have everything handed to you is no way of living. Why not attend school, find a job, do
community service, or something productive that can benefit you and a lot of people out there that needs help. Use your unique talent to help
manifest others in this world and help them find their own unique talent. My true purpose in life is to help people of all kinds with problems of all
types. I love listening to people and helping them as much as I can. Being able to help people, makes me feel abundant about myself because not only

If the nation was not neutral in foreign affairs the country would become divided. In Washington's Farewell Address, he warned the country about
having political division because he believed that would also separate the country. George Washington's contributions were attempts to keep the country
unified and out of foreign wars. President Washington's ideas such as establishing a cabinet and policies such as neutrality helped stabilize government.
George Washington was an important founding father but Thomas Jefferson was also an important founding father. Thomas Jefferson was elected
third president of America. Thomas Jefferson's presidency was known as the Revolution of 1800 because he was the first non Federalist to be elected
president and there we no bloodshed. Jefferson's "mission" as he saw it was to restore the republican experiment, to check the growth of government
power, and to halt the decay of virtue that had set in under Federalist rule. Thomas Jefferson was determined to undo Federalist policies when coming
into office. He quickly released the citizens from prison who were serving time for speaking out against the Federalist party. Thomas Jefferson also
reduced the time it takes to become a citizen from an unreasonable fourteen years to a reasonable five years. Even though Thomas Jefferson did not

Does the Current Electoral Process Result in the best Candidate for President?
History informs us about the first method the parties developed in order to pick their presidential candidates. This method was the congressional
caucus. The framer's method in 1787 was that each elector would cast two electoral votes, each for a different person for president. The person who
received the majority of the electoral votes would win the presidential election and the person who received the second most amount of electoral votes
won the vice presidential election. However, the rise of political parties and the election of 1800 made a great change to the system. During this time

All together, there are 538 Electoral votes. In December after the election, the electors cast their votes. When the votes are counted on January 6th, the
Presidential candidate that gets more than half, 270, wins the election. The President–elect and Vice President–elect then take the oath of office and are
inaugurated two weeks later, on January 20th. Returning to the main question, I don't believe the electoral process results in the best candidates for
President. I believe the choice should not be left for the electoral college but for each person's vote to count. One alternative is the popular vote where
everyone's vote would count for one vote. I don't think it is fair to try to convince people that they have a voice and encourage them to vote, when
the Electoral College has the final say. The Electoral College leads to things like there being massive amounts of campaigning being down in
"battleground states" like Ohio and Florida while people in solidly "red" or solidly "blue" states have their issues basically ignored because it's almost
certain which way the state is going to go.

American Revolution: Aaron Burr
Aaron Burr contributed to the American Revolution by being George Washington's aide in the Continental Army. He graduated from the New Jersey
College, or what is now known as Princeton University, at age 17 and used his intelligence to help Washington in the war. Also, he joined the
Continental Army in 1775 and soon had distinguished himself during the Patriot attack on Quebec. He is credited with trying to evacuate the body of
General Richard Montgomery who was killed in action. Later after the war, he defeated Alexander Hamilton's father–in–law in a race for Senate, which
made Alexander angry and caused him to turn on him. He also served as a state attorney in 1790, lost against Jefferson in a race for vice presidency
due to Alexander's actions in 1796, and eventually returned to the New York Assembly.
Aaron was one of the most brilliant graduates to come from New Jersey College, or what is now known as Princeton University. He at first went to
college for theology at the age 13, but then later changed his career to studying law as he got older. He then joined the Continental Army as an officer

Alexander Hamilton Impact
Alexander Hamilton was one of the seven founding fathers. An immigrant who made his way into our history books and started impacting our
country since the late 1700s. In this essay I'll be talking about his life, why he's important and who he impacts today. Alexander Hamilton was born
on January 11, 1757 in Charlestown, Nevis. When he was young his father abandoned his mother and him. His father was born of Scottish
descent, and left them because of debt. This caused his mother and him to work harder and rely on friends and family to support themselves. Then
when he was around 13 his mother died, leaving him orphaned. He then went to live with a cousin, who soon after committed suicide. From a
young age, he had to learn to survive for himself. When he was 14 he was put in charge of a trading charter. He knew he was poor, and had no way
to get anywhere unless he worked hard. Hamilton had to grow up way too soon and began to read and write and find any source of education
possible. When he was about 15, Hamilton wrote a description of a sermon he heard by Hugh Knox for a newspaper, The Royal–Danish American
Gazette. His writings somehow found their way into the hands of a group of readers. Their interests were peaked by the description, and even more so
when they found out who it was written by. They all decided this young man deserved a better shot and sponsored him to continue his education in the
colonies. Hamilton found his way to the colony of New York, attending

Alexander Hamilton And Thomas Jefferson
Competing Nations Essay
After the Constitution was put into place, there were many conflicting ideas on how to run the country. Two people, Alexander Hamilton and Thomas
Jefferson, led seperate groups that helped shape America today. Hamilton and Jefferson became the prominent leaders of the Federalists and the
Democratic–Republicans parties.
The Federalist party was led mainly by Alexander Hamilton. The party had many different hopes for the future and feared many ideals put forth by the
Democratic–Republicans. Hamilton believed the future of America rested in industrialization and manufacturing. He wanted Americans to "sell
everything and buy nothing" (A. Hamilton Envisions a Developed American Economy). In doing so, the country would create a revenue benefiting all
companies in the country. Even though manufacturing would be the largest industry, Hamilton still saw the value in agriculture. Farming would allow
for a food surplus, which allowed the country to support itself and then other countries could rely on them. While farming was needed in the country,
manufacturing would be the largest and most influential part of the country. Manufacturing allowed for more jobs, a division of labor, "diversity of
talents and dispositions,"(A. Hamilton Envisions a Developed American Economy) and more emigration. Hamilton was convinced that child labor
would very soon become a core value of America. Oliver Wolcott said "children who have health...are worth money

Shaping Our Ego
Shaping Our Ego: How We Emotionally and Realistically Digest the World
1 The book, A New Earth Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle, has brought back many memories of my childhood and has reminded
me of many things that have shaped my reality. I have seen the world, but the words I use to describe the world have made me pay attention to the
parts of the world that are described. When I see the orange cat, London, a few times a week, I notice that the cat is orange, and I notice this because
I was taught about colors when I was a young girl, which shapes my reality. This is important because I am better off knowing colors and words for
colors. The ego helps me understand the world. When I am confronted with an emotion, which the ego and I process by wanting to be understood by
someone to commiserate with that shapes my emotions. The ego guides me through emotions. When I think of getting a job later in life, I think
about what would make me happy, and what will act as security in the long run, which shapes my identity. The ego is a part of the self that
experiences and reacts to the outside world and thus mediates between primitive drives of the id and the demands of the social and physical
environment. The ego is a processor of the outer world and inner world, and it shapes our identity, reality, and emotions, and it betters our well being.

I Am My Research Hypothesis
I tested my research hypothesis through my one on one interviews and core questions. I used my core questions and people skills to conduct the
interviews properly. When speaking with each woman I interviewed, I explained to them that I was asking them questions for a research project.
After this, I read the core questions directly from my iPhone that I wanted to ask the women. I made sure that I spoke clearly and annunciated each
word I spoke so that I would not have to repeat the questions. After interviewing each woman, I went home and wrote down notes on what each of the
women said. I did not want to take notes in front of the women because I wanted them to know that they had my undivided attention. When it comes to
my values, I am the type of person who never wants to make someone feel uncomfortable.
Interview Process A The first group I interviewed were women at Greenhouse Church. I attended a Sunday, 9:00am church service two weeks in a row
so that I could become more recognizable to those around me. After the service, there were a few women standing outside handing out pamphlets. I
decided to interview these women because they seemed involved in their church community. I thought they would be great candidates for answering

therefore I was not sure how they would react. I spent about 10–12 minutes with each woman I

The Priestly Line Of Malki Tzedek
About the Priestly Line of Malki Tzedek – for those that want to learn more.
In Numbers 18 the Most High says, speaking about the priesthood, that it is an eternal covenant with Aaron and the Levites that these are the duties
that he and they have. What 's clear here is no one from the Davidic line in the tribe of Judah could ever bring an incense offering into mikdash
ha–kodesh(the holy of holies) in the Temple Lev 16:12–13. There can never be a high priest from the house of David. The priesthood belongs to Aaron,
his sons and the Levites forever.
This next point must be addressed. In the Tanakh(OT) it says David 's sons were priests (2 Sam 8:18), that doesn 't mean they were priests of Aaron.

David is given the power of defeating his enemies in the manner that Abraham was in Genesis 14. That power is being passed down to him and
now he will defeat his enemies. the Most High does not break His promises, they are covenants, He 's not going to change them. You are a priest
forever David is told, a Kohane, one who has been given an important office. David 's children are called priests, Kohane, that does not mean they are
of the lineage of Aaron and will officiate in the Temple performing priestly duties. It means David 's sons hold important offices.
Numbers 18:19 "All the gifts of the Kodesh things[offerings], which the children of Israel offer unto YHWH, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy
daughters with thee, as an eternal portion; it is an everlasting covenant of salt before YHWH unto thee and to thy seed with thee. '"
The Most High says the Priesthood belongs to Aaron and his descendants forever, a salt covenant. These are eternal covenants, they can not be
broken, in fact, the Most High calls it a salt covenant. Why a salt covenant? Because salt never spoils, it never degrades. Not only doesn 't it degrade
but it preserves food, it never changes. The covenant is as permanent as salt. So if someone tells you the covenant the Most High made with Aaron and
his sons, the covenant the Most High made with the tribe of Levi, the covenant the Most High made with the

Essay on The Prosecution and Tragic Death of Aaron Swartz
In light of the recent prosecution and tragic death of Aaron Swartz, it is my belief an formal examination of the current legal processes is required. But
first, the events leading to the current moral turmoil must be reviewed.

However in Aarron Swartz case where the amount of files were retrieved he did not receive a similar punishment because of his methods used. Now

"trying to put someone in jail for allegedly checking too many books out of the library" (Declan, 2013). However because of the current copyright
laws in the "Computer Fraud and Abuse Act" he was prosecuted differently. It is my opinion that in light of the significant threats posed by

Berkeley who specializes in Law and Social Policy to provide a third party perspective on this matter. In his famed novel "Governing Through Crime"
Professor Simon examines the relationship between the fear of crime and the increase in Prosecutorial Authority. Historically speaking, prosecutors
possessed limited power but were intended to represent the public. However, following social and political declaration of a war on crime, prosecutors
were shifted into the political spotlight with additional legal powers. During this progression a form of accountability and oversight was not

7 Habits Of Highly Ineffective People

  • 1. 7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People 7 Habits of Highly Ineffective People With a twist to the common list of habits that are useful to establish, here are 7 habits that you do best to avoid. Just like finding habits that can be useful for you it's important to find habits that are holding you back. Most of these 7 habits can easily become such a normal, everyday part of life that you hardly notice it (or how it's affecting you). I've dabbled with all of them quite a bit. Not surprisingly I didn't get much of the important stuff done. IВґd also like to add that these are just 7 broad habits you can establish to become highly ineffective in most parts of your life. You don't have to examine everything from every angle before you try it. And you can't wait for the perfect time to do something. That time never comes. And if you keep thinking you'll just dig yourself down deeper and deeper and taking action will become more and more difficult. Instead you just need to stop thinking. Shut of your mind – it just helps you up to a point – and go do whatever you need to do. 5. Seeing the negative and downsides in just about anything. When you see everything from a negative perspective you quickly punch a hole in your own motivation. You find faults everywhere and problems where there are really none. You cling to details. If youwant to find a reason to not do something then that's no problem. From a negative viewpoint you can find ten reasons every time. And so very little gets done, you whine to anyone who wants to hear – and many who don't – about how crappy your job, life and boss is. Which becomes a self–fulfilling prophecy as you create the life that is appropriate considering how think and see your world. A solution is to realise the limits of a negative perspective. And that your perspective isn't some kind of 100% true picture of the world. Then try other perspectives. For instance, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Persuasive Reflection Paper I never really thought about the problem that was going on until it happened to me, it was a block hour at my old school classes 6–12th grade were together. It was a normal day just like every other, we did everything we were supposed to. We all gathered in the gym to do our group study thing that we always did on Thursday. We were asked to stand up to do the pledge, when suddenly, I noticed that some people were not standing. When it was over, we sat back down and I turned to my friend and asked what was going on and asked why they did not stand, she looked at me and said that it was because of the Black Lives Matter thing that was going on and because Colin Kaepernick had kneeled during the anthem. I really didn't know how to feel, I was more upset than anything because I was always taught to stand for the pledge and respect the flag cause many people have fought and risked their lives for it everyday. People were disrespecting it for a reason they don't even know simply because they saw it on T.V. and want to join the bandwagon. I went to my principal after that and told her what had happen and how I didn't think it was right. Therefore, the next day when I came to school they were all dressed in black and were wearing the african garments. I at that point knew what they were doing. They were going to protest in school the whole day. I was getting really dirty looks and things were said behind my back, but I wasn't the only one. Another girl also had several things said ... • 3. Persuasive Speech George Mallory was one of the earliest climbers of Mt Everest, said that he did so "BECAUSE IT WAS THERE". What a fantastic inspiring attitude. Do we still have that adventurous attitude that George had? How many of us ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬have been on an adventure recently? (pause) Did you know that it has been scientifically proven outdoor adventures can treat and prevent a wide range of health problems. It can also make you smarter. Is anyone bad at maths around here? (pause) Well, here are some stats and big numbers for you. Stop recording Only 19% of kids in Australia get the right amount of exercise a day. That's 254,538 kids that get the right amount of exercise out of, 4,836 227 kids. Also, 9 out of 10 teenagers don't get enough exercise because they're on their phone or they think that it is too hard. Adventuring and exercising can add 3 years extra to your life. Don't we all want to live longer? Stop recording I have always had a taste for adventure. In year 3, I did a hike to Mt Feathertop. We were in Beechworth near Wangaratta when our cousins had come back from doing a hike to the mountain. We thought it was a good idea to do it because we had done many mini hikes and wanted a challenge. The TV character Winnie the Pooh said, "As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen." It is so powerful because when you watch Winnie the Pooh, you notice that he is a character that is all about adventuring. Stop recording. A couple of months later, we returned to do the hike. As we were driving, looking up to the mountain I wondered, would I make it? As I started, the nature around me had made me forget about all of my busy life and it had made me feel relaxed and happier. I felt as though I was achieving something. It was as if my brain had reset. I was feeling mindful and very aware of my surroundings – particularly snakes. Stop recording Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we're doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what's going on around us. There is a growing trend to bring Mindfulness into classrooms and workplaces across Australia. I believe that mindfulness can be practiced in the great outdoors. Stop recording As we reached ... • 4. Analysis Of Melba Beals 's ' Warriors Don 't Cry ' Melba Beals was certainly full of grit. When she insisted to go back to school after segregationists were trying to keep her out the school, but she still insisted on going back to school to finish all her classes and take her final exams. Even after all those people told her to get out; and she finished high school with pride. When Melba showed her grit later on people started encouraging her more saying she's doing a great thing for this town (Beals 224). I thought this anecdote was important because it shows an example of how grit is used in the right context. The journey archetype means a recurrent image, symbol, or even a situation that instinctual expressions man 's nature and experiences that are universal in humanity. Whileself–identity means the recognition of one 's potential and qualities of as an individual. People 's traits impact who they are as a person because if they have poorly traits they'll show that in the way they act same thing for the good traits. Melba Beals' "Warriors Don't Cry," "Homer's "TheOdyssey," and my own life reveal that our characters traits have an impact on our life journeys and self identities. To begin, both Melba Beals and Penelope's lives were positively impacted by their character strengths; Penelope's hope kept the suitors off her, while Melba's grit made her complete and integrate Central High. Hope in my opinion is to expect the best in the future no matter the odds or situation. While grit is to finish what one starts no ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Theme Of Oedipus Complex By Paul Morel Since the day of publication, it has been a tendency to approach Sons and Lovers (1913)primarily as the story of a victim of 'Oedipus Complex'. The hero, Paul Morel, is very often looked upon, as the title suggests, merely as a son; not as a normal human being. Whatever problems crop up in the life of Paul Morel has been addressed as the reason of his 'mother– fixation'. Whenever someone strives to examine the character or personae of Paul Morel, the Oedipus complex looms large and everything else, if there is any, fades away. Because of this one–dimensional attitude, it is scarcely kept in mind that Paul Morel, besides his 'mother–fixation', does posses another identity no less important than his identity of a son; the identity that could ... However, the present unknown opens up a new possibility for Paul and urges anew the creative artist in his being. In fact, before losing all of his beloveds, Paul successfully draws out the necessary vitality from them: From his mother he drew the life warmth, the strength to produce; Miriam urged this warmth into intensity like a white light.28 About Clara, it could be said in the words of Mark Spilka : she adds to this life–warmth and creative vision the gift of manhood, the "baptism of fire in passion."29 With the help of this vitality, Paul being at verge of extinction finally decides: "no, he would not give in,"30 rather will continue to go on in ... • 6. A New Earth : Awakening 1. Life is full of complex emotions to ordinary humankind. With the accumulation of sentiments, people's mind will barely afford the emotional fluctuations. Hence, ego comes up and temporarily mitigates the pain by offering misleading identifications. In the mean time, a rational thinking of the essence will lead people to a way of awakening. Through the combination of objective analysis with reasonable treatment to objects, people will get rid of those subjective perspectives made by the ego. In the book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose,Eckhart Tolle indicates the concept of ego and the entity of life purpose, and then he emphasizes the importance of awareness and arouses our intelligence. The primary factor in creation is consciousness. Once people realize and accept to be the awareness behind the surface of thoughts and emotions, peace and true happiness will follow. 2. The ego comes from the illusory self and the identification with external form of the world. Ego always needs more sufferings to strengthen itself and it becomes the source of human pain body. A child may cry when someone takes away his toy, no matter he's rich or poor, no matter that toy is a stuffed toy or a high–tech electronic product. People make identification with objects. "More I have, more I am" seems to be the norm of society. The pain of loss is not different because the feeling of anguish derives from the misconception of "I" or "my". • 7. Creative Story : A Short Story "The After" "Run! Trav there gaining on us!" screamed Aaron. The tall, 17 year old boy, with dark brown hair was what seemed like miles in front of Travis, his younger brother, even carrying all the supplies for 3 people. Travis, looking back every couple of seconds, weakly yelled "Wait Arron to the right that should take u– us back!" Arron took a sharp right into an alley way. He tackled the few biters that were in the way to clear a path so his brother could get through safely. "Righ– no go left! Your left!" After following his brother's directions they made it back to the main road where there dad was waiting, screaming, with the window down for them to hurry. Arron threw the large duffel bags into the back of his dads old, 2 door, 2000 Dodge Dakota with the dented hood. Travis bolted around the truck to the opened door on the other side and leaped to safety while, Arron hopped in the back and tapped the top of the truck 3 times signaling to his dad it was okay to go. Immediately after they speed away down the highway littered with crashed cars, corpses, abandoned suitcases, and much more. Aaron let out a deep breath and sat with his arm perched on the side of the truck as he watched as the horde of zombies faded away. He slid around the cooler and pulled out a Gatorade, wiping away the water that dripped from the bottle, with the bottom of his ACDC shirt. He slid open the back glass of the truck and handed it to Travis. His dad glared at Arron then told his Millwood 2 youngest son not to drink it all and that they should save it for when they really need it. Arron then replied to his father's comment by saying, "We just ran from Walton's Market to here in under 8 minutes. He's only 10 and was carrying a bag larger them him for half of the time till he asked if I could carry it while you were playing getaway car." Aaron could see his dad's eyes glairing into his in the rear view mirror. He quickly shut the window and turned with his back facing the glass. "It's been 4 weeks since we last went on a run," sighed Arron, "it's starting to show. We can probably only last a week more or less." He said while cleaning his 38. "What are you doing with that?" scoffed his dad. Arron glared up and responded, "I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Main Idea Of Jesus As Messiah Essay MAIN IDEA & OUTLINE Main Idea Jesus as Messiah serves as both High Priest and Mediator for all believers. This role is established in the New Covenant that He created through His sacrifice and by His blood. His sacrifice and role as priesthood are both superior to any preceding, and are permanent in nature. Outline 1. Jesus as Messiah 9:11 2. Jesus as High Priest 9:12–13 3. Superiority of priesthood of Jesus 9:14 4. Jesus is our Mediator Hebrews 9:15–20 INTRODUCTION Starting in Chapter 3 of Hebrews, the author begins talking about Jesus as High Priest, including its relation to the order of Melchizedek, and the Heavenly nature of His priesthood. He has also related the role of Jesus as High Priest to His Covenant that was created by His death through His blood. Now, in Chapter 9, the author is explaining the relation between the earthly priesthood of the Old Covenant, and the Heavenly priesthood of Jesus in the New Covenant. At this time, Jews were still offering sacrifices and viewing the presence of God as one visited in the tabernacle on earth. The Hebrew author is stating here, beginning in verse 11, that Jesus ' priesthood will not serve in the earthly tabernacle, but He will serve in the Heavenly tabernacle and enter into the presence of God there. The author then explains the difference between the earthly and Heavenly priesthood, and why the Heavenly priesthood is superior. CONTEXT Historical Context The book of Hebrews is unique from other

Both men were very significant political leaders of the United States. The men had clashes throughout the 1790's which lead to a duel between the two and Alexander Hamilton lost his life. Aaron Burr was born in New Jersey in 1756. He was involved in many political events though out his life. He was the second president of Princeton, and he was the grandson of Jonathon Edwards. In this era, being outstanding in Washington's eye was substantially magnificent. Hamilton married a young lady by the name of Elizabeth Schuyler; she was the daughter of a general. This put Alexander Hamilton in the middle of New York's politics. In 1782, Hamilton was elected to the Continental Congress. As Alexander Hamilton's political career began to get under way, things seem to be going as planned. He played a major role in the constitution. He was one of America's first Constitutional lawyers, and wrote most of the Federalist Papers, a primary source for Constitutional interpretation. He was perhaps the best lawyer in America at the time of his death and his views were remarkably consistent and coherent. He also had a clear vision of the new nation and believed that it could learn much from British economic policy and governmental practice. Since he played such a major role in the Constitution Convention, he obviously was going to serve a major role in the new government. He proved himself a brilliant administrator both in organizing the Treasury Department and in assisting generally to set guidelines for and staff all the departments of government. He proposed, to pay the nation's debts in full and also to assume the unpaid debts of the various states. In his later years, he was a strong member of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Aaron Schwartz Research Paper Aaron Schwartz This essay is about the personality of the internet activism Aaron Schwartz. .People could say that the perfect citizen does not exist, I actually do not know if that is true, but what I surely know is that Aaron was perfect citizen for me: Everything in Aaron is special; the way he dresses, the way he moves, the way he behaves, the way he speaks etc. Sometimes, I just think that it could be great if he stayed alive, he would have done many things, if I could be a petit percent of what he is. But let's start to describe the way that Arron looks like. At first sight, you could see that he doesn't care about his clothes; however, when you will know him, you could notice that he dresses all kinds different cheap informal clothes such as jeans and T–shirts. His clothes fit well with the way he looks, Arron is tall and thin, he always has a long hair, and he is black– haired. In other words Arron appearance is simply unique. • 14. Analysis Of Aaron Burr And Alexander Hamilton The Oval Office symbolizes the government whenever public judgement casts the governmental system in negative or positive light. Arguably, every presidential administration becomes marked by the supposed corruption that lies within it, for the office is considered the "Room Where It Happens" (Miranda and McCarter 186). In homage to the times of exclusion and inclusion of Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton in this room during the founding father's era of government, Hamilton: The Revolution, by Lin–Manuel Miranda and Jeremy McCarter, states that "[one] feel[s] like [one has] been Burr [..] as many times as [one has] been Hamilton" (264). Nevertheless, as Miranda identifies to a greater degree with Hamilton because of his rags to riches record, my ideologies gravitate towards Burr from experiences in a culture where failure is condemned. Moreover, the eventual vilification of Burr for his role in Hamilton's demise versus Hamilton's martyrdom for his reckless abandon leads me to identify more with Burr as a victim of fallacious antagonization than Hamilton as an erroneous martyr based on a single precept: one's reputation stems from a series of public judgements void of consideration on individual detriment. Dominance acts as a form of dopamine to man's brain: it gives man satisfaction from superiority and control over supposedly inferior beings. While Hamilton, the immigrant with a lack of wealth and family, climbs up the echelons of the societal ladder, Burr is forced to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

During 1790's, Alexander Hamilton became the secretary of the Treasury Department under the first president George Washington and he was a supporter of the Federalist Party. The Republican Party that we have now in America isn't the same as the old Republican Party because today's party is more modern. According to Foner, "Both parties claim the language of liberty, and each accused its opponent of engaging in a conspiracy to destroy it." (Foner, Give Me Liberty, I, 294). In other words, both parties believe in independence, however, seeing each other as an enemy makes them think the opposing party is going to involve with other countries or creating a treaty to ruin the liberty. If one party is okay with something, then, the opponent will definitely go against it. Sometimes, it feels like the politicians do this on purpose to continue with the matter. Capitalism And A New Social Capitalism and a New Social Order– The Republican Vision of the1790's Joyce Appleby Nathalia Francio Cocenza As soon as the Federalists and the Republicans figured out that the America's future was at risk, they knew it was time for a change. Hope; this is what moved the Republicans towards the creation of a new social order. The election of 1800 was very significant for a couple of reasons; it gave Thomas Jefferson the presidency of the United States, but most importantly, "the election constitutes the first peaceful transfer of power from one political party to another in the United States" (Thomas). The country changed from being a Federalist nation into a Republican nation. Jefferson encouraged human rights, believed in a simple ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Another essential point in differentiating Republicans from Federalist according to Appleby is their position on the future matter, "whether or not they expected it to be fundamentally different or basically a continuation of the known" (Appleby). The Republicans believed in capitalism, the commercial trade with other countries begin to rise, and the grain production becomes really important in the United States because of England's high demand for it. The Jeffersonian Republicans think that the abundant land should create a population that can sustain itself. Adam Smith's theory of human nature talks about the men's instinct of improving themselves, and the author emphasizes that as the market improves more people become merchants. Now people work because they want to and not because they are obligated. Capitalism allowed people to sell their products across the ocean, with all this money coming in towns are growing faster and beautifully than ever before. New investments in commerce and industry are made. There are rich and poor, but the majority of the population is consisted of the middle class because of the availability of land. • 18. The Politics Of The Budgetary Process Historically, incrementalism has characterized public budgeting because at its core, budgeting has evolved: increased and decreased through gradual stages within the realm of the political arena. The need for this one step at a time type of response, found within incremental budgeting, would have likely been caused by the known fact that prior to the 1900's public welfare programs, federal, states, and even city spending did not exist in the way in which is more than obviously observable in today's society simply because America did not employ an actual budgetary system. Therefore, as with any unchartered territory, it was approached in stages, with caution, a little at a time in response to the growing needs of the public. Aaron Wildavsky made this case in his book "The politics of the budgetary process," when he pointed out "budgeting is incremental, not comprehensive. The beginning of wisdom about an agency budget is that it is almost never actively reviewed as a whole every year in the sense of reconsidering the value of all existing programs as compared to all alternatives. Instead, it is based on last year's budget with special attention given to a narrow range of increases or decreases." (Wildavsky 1964, p. 15) Line item budgeting, which categorizes various expenses and places them in list format a document for budgetary purposes, can be associated with incremental budgeting as means for budget making because once that is done "Statutory or administrative controls ... Later, the very viewpoints which Jefferson argued against in the debate over the bank, were implemented in his plan for the Louisiana Purchase occurring in 1803.5 Here, Jefferson made a deal with France to purchase, in exchange for fifteen million dollars, territory which would ultimately double the size of the United States. (Gilder Lehrman Collection) Nasty political mud–slinging. Campaign attacks and counterattacks. Personal insults. Outrageous newspaper invective. Dire predictions of warfare and national collapse. Innovative new forms of politicking capitalizing on a growing technology. As much as this seems to describe our present–day presidential contests, it actually describes an election more than two hundred years past. The presidential election of 1800 was an angry, dirty, crisis–ridden contest that seemed to threaten the nation's very survival. A bitter partisan battle between Federalist John Adams and Republican Thomas Jefferson, it produced a tie between Jefferson and his Republican running mate, Aaron Burr; a deadlock in the House where the tie had to be broken; an outburst of intrigue and suspicion as Federalists struggled to determine a course of action; Jefferson's election; and Burr's eventual downfall. The unfolding of this crisis tested the new nation's durability. The deadlock in the House revealed a constitutional defect. It also pushed partisan rivalry to an extreme, inspiring a host of creative and far–reaching electoral ploys. As a sense of crisis built, there was even talk of disunion and civil war, and indeed, two states began to organize their militias to seize the government if Jefferson did not prevail. An immigrant who made his way into our history books and started impacting our country since the late 1700s. In this essay I'll be talking about his life, why he's important and who he impacts today. Alexander Hamilton was born on January 11, 1757 in Charlestown, Nevis. When he was young his father abandoned his mother and him. His father was born of Scottish descent, and left them because of debt. This caused his mother and him to work harder and rely on friends and family to support themselves. Then when he was around 13 his mother died, leaving him orphaned. He then went to live with a cousin, who soon after committed suicide. From a young age, he had to learn to survive for himself. When he was 14 he was put in charge of a trading charter. He knew he was poor, and had no way to get anywhere unless he worked hard. Hamilton had to grow up way too soon and began to read and write and find any source of education possible. When he was about 15, Hamilton wrote a description of a sermon he heard by Hugh Knox for a newspaper, The Royal–Danish American Gazette. His writings somehow found their way into the hands of a group of readers. Their interests were peaked by the description, and even more so when they found out who it was written by. After this, I read the core questions directly from my iPhone that I wanted to ask the women. I made sure that I spoke clearly and annunciated each word I spoke so that I would not have to repeat the questions. After interviewing each woman, I went home and wrote down notes on what each of the women said. I did not want to take notes in front of the women because I wanted them to know that they had my undivided attention. When it comes to my values, I am the type of person who never wants to make someone feel uncomfortable. Interview Process A The first group I interviewed were women at Greenhouse Church. I attended a Sunday, 9:00am church service two weeks in a row so that I could become more recognizable to those around me. After the service, there were a few women standing outside handing out pamphlets. I decided to interview these women because they seemed involved in their church community. I thought they would be great candidates for answering my core questions. However, they were the most difficult group to interview. I was not entirely familiar with the Greenhouse Church environment, therefore I was not sure how they would react. I spent about 10–12 minutes with each woman I ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 36. The Priestly Line Of Malki Tzedek About the Priestly Line of Malki Tzedek – for those that want to learn more. In Numbers 18 the Most High says, speaking about the priesthood, that it is an eternal covenant with Aaron and the Levites that these are the duties that he and they have. What 's clear here is no one from the Davidic line in the tribe of Judah could ever bring an incense offering into mikdash ha–kodesh(the holy of holies) in the Temple Lev 16:12–13. There can never be a high priest from the house of David. The priesthood belongs to Aaron, his sons and the Levites forever. This next point must be addressed. '" The Most High says the Priesthood belongs to Aaron and his descendants forever, a salt covenant. These are eternal covenants, they can not be broken, in fact, the Most High calls it a salt covenant. Why a salt covenant? Because salt never spoils, it never degrades. Not only doesn 't it degrade but it preserves food, it never changes. The covenant is as permanent as salt. So if someone tells you the covenant the Most High made with Aaron and his sons, the covenant the Most High made with the tribe of Levi, the covenant the Most High made with the ... Now with the rise in computer crime it is difficult to measure the impact inflicted. However in the case of Aaron Swartz his crime has been described as "trying to put someone in jail for allegedly checking too many books out of the library" (Declan, 2013). However because of the current copyright laws in the "Computer Fraud and Abuse Act" he was prosecuted differently. However, following social and political declaration of a war on crime, prosecutors were shifted into the political spotlight with additional legal powers. During this progression a form of accountability and oversight was not implemented proportionally. Simon specifically describes this concern ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
