Chicago Bulls Essay
The Chicago bulls joined the NBA in 1966–67. When the bulls started they had lots of great players
like Bob Love, Norm Van Lier, Jerry Sloan, and Tom Boerwinkle. When the bulls started their
career they are the only NBA team ever to make the playoffs there 1st season in the NBA. In the mid
1980 bulls selected Michael Jordan and he became the greatest of all time. Jordan set lots of records
like 7 scoring titles, slam dunk contest, and trick shots. Scottie Pippen was the best too for the bulls.
After the Jordan retired baseball from the white sox he came back to the Chicago bulls and then lead

The revived rivalry has been very physical, the games between the two enemies were very
aggressive and lots of fouls for both teams. The Bulls and Heat met in the 2011 Eastern Conference
Finals, with the Heat winning in 5 games. Then on March 27, 2013 they met again in the eastern
conference. The 2 teams were much pumped and wanted to win. The bulls have 3 different
uniforms: a white home uniform, a red road uniform, and a black alternate road uniform. The jerseys
the bulls were had a reason they were them. The design of the white and red sets are nearly same,
with the team name featured on the front over the number, and the all the player's last name over the
number on the back and under the Bulls' logo. The shorts had diamond stripes on side of their pants.
The red and white uniforms were basically the same when it was 1966, with minor adjustments from
off–centered numbers, drop shadows and side stripes to a cursive "Chicago" lettering on the away
uniforms. The present red/white uniform design was shown in the 1985–86 season, for the 1st time
they used block lettering for the names on the back of the jerseys. The Bulls logo was added atop the

The Chicago Bulls campaign this season is hanging in the balance. Currently, they are sitting at the
8th spot of the Eastern Conference division holding a 21–22 win–loss record. Recent reports are
saying that they considering of trading Jimmy Butler and it looks like the Minnesota Timberwolves
could be a potential destination for him.
Since the start of this year, Butler has been a regular figure in the rumor mills that floated online.
Although he was previously linked to trade rumors last year, those gossips never run off and just
fade away. But now, rumblings reports are spreading that he is allegedly again put on the trading
block by the Bulls trying to explore a plausible deal for him.

Trade scenario is suggesting that the Bulls will receive Ricky Rubio and Andrew Wiggins from the
Timberwolves while Jimmy Butler will head West and join Karl–Anthony Towns in the
Timberwolves lineup.
Having Rubio and Wiggins on the Bulls roster will surely benefit them. The Bulls badly need a
replacement for their disgruntled starting point guard Rajon Rondo and Rubio seems to be fit for
that spot. Meanwhile, Wiggins is an upcoming player that have the potential of becoming a superstar
someday.
On the other hand, Butler will reunite him with coach Thibodeau so familiarity to the system will
not be a problem. Playing him alongside Zach Lavine and Karl–Anthony Towns will definitely give
the Timberwolves a competitive lineup. The trade will also work under NBA trade and salary cap
rules making it a legal deal for both teams as verified with ESPN NBA Trade Machine.

Did Michael Jordan leaving affect the team negatively? The Bulls, to this day have held the stunning
record of 87–13 with the help of the legend Michael Jordan but did that all change when he left?
Can the team still bring back amazing records and win more then one straight championship in a
row like Michael Jordan.? Jordan impacted the Bulls during his time by helping his team get to the
NBA championship several times throughout his career, his achievements helped his team realize
how much they were capable of being some of the best players in the NBA, and he was the one who
won the games to get them in the higher ranks.

Jordan was a very big part of the Chicago Bulls by helping them achieve top scores and ranks
placing them in the memories of fans and people worldwide to this day. There is no doubt that
Michael Jordan was special. But what he did for his team will never be forgotten. The attainments of
his career were spectacular. His six time NBA finals MVP awards are just a glimpse at how great he
was. He dedicated his life to the game of basketball and to the Chicago Bulls. There is no question
that Jordan leaving hurt the team. If he had not, the Bulls would have been NBA champions seven or
eight times depending on the period of his departure, and he would have gotten two more NBA
finals MVP awards instead of Hakeem Olajuwon. Overall it is safe to conclude that my statement of
Michael Jordan's time off affecting the team poorly is now an ideal

The 1992–1993 season rolled around, with Jordan and the Chicago Bulls looking to make history
yet again. Early in the year the Bulls started off slow and looked as if they did not have a chance for
the title. (Christopher 97) By the end of the season they were learning to win again "winning the
Central Division with a 57–25 record, third best in the league" (Christopher 97). Once again the
Bulls made it to the Championship Game leaving every person in shock that they made it once
again. The Bulls were up against the Phoenix Sun and pushed the series to game six where the
Chicago Bulls were in the position to three–peat. The end of the game was near when the Bulls were
down by two, 99–98, when Suns guard threw up an air ball with 14 seconds left. (Christopher 100).

Introduction The NBA today has some of the best players in the world. It is the most popular
basketball league in the entire world. The teams are stacked with talent throughout the entire league.
The talent has increased tremendously since past years. Throughout the NBA's history there has
been some great teams. Arguably, there hasn't been a team better than the 95–96 Bulls.
What I Know The 95–96 Chicago Bulls are arguably the best National Basketball Association team
of all time. They hold many records, including the most wins in a season at 72. That is an
outstanding feet when there is only 82 games in a season. They had, who some say is the greatest of

In 1996 when they had their historic run, the Bulls didn't have to deal with some of the defenses that
the teams have today. Back then, teams weren't allowed to double team anybody with the ball. This
allowed them to pick out the worst defender on the other team and let their player pick him apart
and score a lot. Michael Jordan was one of the quickest players in the game, and could get around
his defender in a flash. How would he deal with the tough double teams of today's game? How
could Curry's ball handling allow him to make a quick move by a frozen defender? Matter of fact,
how would someone like LeBron James be able to tear apart another team with his size and speed

Basketball is my favorite sport over any other sport, and I'll let you know why. You can move with
elegance, style, and become a real unique player with moves you originated. Furthermore, there are
so many positions you can seek or try out for and if the position you really crave isn't open, coaches
will let you fight for your right to claim that certain spot. You have a opportunity to play with and
contest against other players in your caliber and to become a star. It's a great chance to partake in
stress relief. Finally, basketball has a lot to offer you, promising the spotlight if you work for it,
practices are hard but beneficial, and will set your future priorities straight if you're serious.

After this promising start though the Bulls would so begin to falter (Chicago History). At the start of
the Bulls second season things looked grim for the team. They had traded their star player Guy
Rodgers for Flynn Robinson and two future draft picks. This proved to be a fatal flaw as the Bulls
only went a mere 29–53 in the regular season. Still this was barely enough to get into the playoffs
where they were destroyed by the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round. After this dreary season the
Bulls lost Jerry Colangelo, from their front office and he took Jonny Kerr, the Bulls head coach with
him. This however, gave them the chance to hire the unlikely choice of Dick Motta (Chicago
History). Motta was in some ways a godsend to the Bulls because of the way he helped the Bulls
turn the corner in the early 1970's. He brought a tough defensive mind to the table and this translated
directly into the Bulls tough defensive play. Motta was also helped out when the Bulls drafted
rookie Tom Boerwinkle, a seven foot center that would turn out to be a star. The Bulls also traded
Robinson to Milwaukee for Bob Love, an NBA legend. That same year the Bulls acquired Bob

When someone asks you who the greatest basketball team is in history, there is only one answer.
There is no thinking required, no Googling the answer, you instantly know and you don't have to be
a sports fanatic. It was led by arguably the greatest player in the sports history and also by one of the
greatest coaches. The 1990's Chicago Bulls are the best NBA team on record and I will proceed to
explain why this is and what it took to get there.
It all started back in 1984. Up until this point the Bulls management had tried to build the team
around shooting guard Reggie Theus, however it was unsuccessful. The team records had
consistently been under 500. It was then decided by the Chicago Bulls, managed by Jerry Krause, to
draft the shooting guard Michael Jordan and from here on out they would build the team around
Jordan. In Jordan's first season, he would set franchise records for scoring and steals. The Bulls
made it back to the playoffs and the chips would continue to fall into place. ... Show more content

title as they beat the Trailblazers. Yet again in the 1992–1993 season the Bulls would win their 3rd

My Plan for the Chicago Bulls' New Season
The Chicago Bulls have been in Chicago, Illinois since 1966 when they joined the NBA as an
expansion team. The Bulls took over the basketball scene in Chicago by winning games and having
a great fan base to come to games. The Chicago Bulls since when they first started playing at
Chicago Stadium dubbed "Madhouse on Madison" they were winning games and making it to the
playoffs. The Bulls did run into a slump stretching from 1976 till about 1989. Their slump turned
around when the Bulls hired Phil Jackson to be the new head coach after going through 6 coaches
before Jackson. They also had acquired top players such as: Michael Jordan in 1984, Scottie Pippen
and Horace Grant in 1987. The Bulls were rebuilding their team and making a plan to keep them
from losing revenue and fans. The Bulls this season went 48–34 and clinched a playoff spot for the
thirty third time since joining the league in 1966. Their season came to end when they lost in game 5
at home to the Washington Wizards. They were a healthy team at the beginning of the season when
Derrick Rose returned from being out due to knee surgery, but his return did not last long. The Bulls
lost their key player for another season after Rose injured his right knee in November of 2013, a

Being the "team of the decade" is a huge title to have. It sounds like it would be hard to obtain that
title, but we see multiple different teams dominating the NBA during certain decades. The question
"why?" is a good question to ask; it can all be traced back to certain star players that would
dominate the league so much that they made certain teams a "power house" team. I believe that
teams of the decade are not a real thing, but player of the decade is a better term to give someone
and more deserving. In the 1990s, the team of the decade was the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls won six
titles in eight years through 1990 to 1998 with the Houston Rockets winning the other two titles.
This was the first dominate team to arise since the Boston Celtics in the 1950s. However, during the
1990 decade, there were eleven different teams that made it to the finals. This showed how strong

His six time NBA finals MVP awards are just a glimpse at how great he was. He dedicated his life to the game of basketball and to the Chicago Bulls. There is no question that Jordan leaving hurt the team. If he had not, the Bulls would have been NBA champions seven or eight times depending on the period of his departure, and he would have gotten two more NBA finals MVP awards instead of Hakeem Olajuwon.
