2. The view from the window
Portracks have been put outside effectively blocking the view from this
large picture window and stopping natural light from entering

3. The Entry
Students entering are greeted by a grey pinboard and a busy looking
desk.

4. The learning space
Students sit at long tables. This does not invite group work. In the
background you can see closed blinds and displays in front of the
windows.

5. Children’s Literature Section
Shelves are not young child friendly. Children cannot easily see the covers to
help them choose books. Another blocked window. On the plus side furniture
looks groovy. Colours could be brighter. Displays on the wall lack pizaz.

6. Clutter
More clutter. The TL complains that the library is used as a dumping
ground. Storage needed for these items.

7. The non-fiction section
Signs look busy. Many of these students are ESL, there is too much
information here.
