1. Yorkshire Wildlife trustiscampaigningtogetan improvedenvironmentact,whichwill notjust
protectour currentwildspaces, butalsoactivelycreate new onestoincrease ourwildlife numbers
and create more space for wildlife.
As part of theircampaign,theywantto getpeople tocontact theirMP, to askthemto work towards
the strongestpossible environmental laws,which will workforwildlife.
Theyalsowant to see whatwildlife meanstopeople andtheirexperiences,orlack of experiences
withit.
Theywant to encourage peopletosendtheirown writtenorvideomessagestotheirMP.Not
everyone knowswhotheirMPis or howto contact themso thismightalsoformpart of the project.
Theyare keentoengage withpeople of all agesandbackgroundssofindingarange of people totalk
to and filmwouldbe good.
We wouldalsobe able tomeetpeople fromthe WildlifeTrustatAskhamBog, whichisjustdownthe
road fromcollege.
The brief can be interpretedusingvideo,animationorprint,dependingonyourpreference.
The work shouldbe suitable forsocial media.Itshould be astartingpoint, whichwill hopefully
encourage otherstotake action.If yourwork ischosen,itwill reacha wide audience viaYorkshire
WildlifeTrust.Itmay alsobe usedby the widerWildTrustsorganisation.
We wantengagingworktheywill getpeopletalkingaboutwildlife andencourage themtobe more
engagedwiththe campaigntoprotectand enhance ourwildplaces.
