draws your attention immediately to it looks
like how a historical story would start of but
with a modern twist ,this gives the audience
the impression that this is only a magazine
containing the most iconic mucisians,singers
and songwriters, the way that the masthead is
laid out it conventionally challenges the
audience, this gives an effect of difference
and originality.
The strapline is all written in cap locks ‘THE
WORLD’S GREATEST MUSIC MAGAZINE’
physiologically this gives the audience the
mind-set that this is in fact the greatest
music magazine in the world.
The plugs are written in the traditional
mowtown feature board style each
sub-heading is written in different sizes
descending from largest text to smaller
texts giving the apparel the texts are
written in order of prestige.
The image is a longshot from below
eyeline which gives the impression of
power Noel looks confident and
ready to take anything you throw at
him he looks proud and fitting of the
semiotics of the magazine on the
whole.

2. The Masthead is ironically a vibrant red
bold and relatively literal, the name ‘VIBE’
makes the audience think of the rhythm of
music and this is the genre of music you
should be listening to.
