CALL FOR CHAPTERS FOR NEW BOOK SERIES:
Innovations in Agricultural and Biological Engineering
About the Series
[http://appleacademicpress.com/Innovations%20in%20Agricultural%20and%20Biological%20Engineering#]
The editor of forthcoming book series on Innovations in Agricultural and Biological
Engineering is pleased to invite you and members of your working group to submit a chapter for
this book series, to be published by Apple Academic Press, USA (AAP). The objective of this
book series is to offer academia, engineers, technologists, and users from different disciplines
information to gain knowledge on the breadth and depth of this multifaceted field.
The field of agricultural engineering is interdisciplinary, as it requires knowledge of
physics, engineering, economics, agronomy, crop science, sociology, and manufacturing
technology. There is an urgent need to explore and investigate the current shortcomings and
challenges of the current innovations and challenges in agricultural engineering. This book
series, in short, will explore and convey the key concepts on innovations in agricultural and
biological engineering.
For this new book series, we welcome chapters on the following specialty areas (but not limited
to):
1. Academia to industry to end user loop in
agricultural engineering
12. Nanotechnology applications in agricultural
engineering
2. Agricultural Mechanization 14. Natural resources engineering
3. Aquacultural engineering 15. Nursery & greenhouse engineering
4. Biological engineering in agriculture 16. Power Systems & Machinery Design
5. Biotechnology applications in agricultural
engineering
17. Robot engineering in agriculture
6. Energy source engineering 18. Simulation and computer modeling
7. Food and bioprocess engineering 19. Soil and water engineering
8. Forest Engineering 20. Structures & Environment engineering
9. Human factors engineering 21. Any other topic
10. Information & Electrical Technologies
11. Irrigation and drainage engineering

Proposals related to the socioeconomic impact, innovative technologies, case studies,
educational/industrial experience, classroom and outreach aids, success stories etc. are also most
welcome. We also welcome review chapters.
Author(s) interested in this theme may submit a short proposal [title, authorsā names
and contact information, summary, keywords, proposed date of chapter submission] of the
chapter by email to: <goyalmegh@gmailcom>. Authors are requested to indicate the
proposed date of chapter submission.
PLEASE DONOT SUBMIT COPYRIGHTED ARTICLES that have been published
unless you have reprint permission from the original publisher. We are against plagiarism.
OPEN SOURCE articles can be evaluated.

For manuscripts, we require an e-copy of the full chapter submitted in WORD2010 on a
letter size paper with no line numbering, a line spacing of 1.5, Times New Roman 11-point font
size, margins top/bottom of 1ā, margins left/right of 1.25ā, and editable equations with an
equation editor in WORD2010. A typical chapter will include the title, authorsā names with
affiliation/email/mailing address, introduction, literature review (if applicable), theoretical
approach (if applicable), materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, summary,
detailed list of keywords, references using numbering system [and in alphabetical order], any
appendix, etc. Also, we prefer a numbering system for citations in the body of a chapter. A
specialized chapter need not follow this format.
My team and I expect to work with you closely. We can assure you the best quality
production. AAP takes care of all processes from editing to marketing at no charge to authors/
editors. All contributing authors will receive pdf copy of the volume that includes their chapter.
