Pitch

Final synopsis
 One crazy scientist is developing a new drug and
wants to experiment on people. The first shots will
focus on the scientist showing how they are making
the pills in their lab which will be fast paced shots.
The audience will be able to have an idea about the
scientist as there will be a newspaper on the desk
which will show that one crazy scientist has escaped
to which the scientist reacts and crosses out certain
words from the newspaper in a breakdown. Action is
further interacted with short shots of the new
developed drug that the crazy scientist has made
and having a character holding the pill in their hand.
 The action changes to the main three characters that
are all sitting in a line and they are staring blankly
 camera showing that there is something wrong with
them and something has changed since the
flashbacks which shows them to be in a happier time
in their lives to them taking the pill. After taking the
pill the characters will be shown to be having a crazy
moment as they are moving their head fast and
when looking back at the camera their eye colour
changes to either yellow or red in order to show that
the pill has had an effect on the characters and they
are no longer themselves. In between, there are
flashbacks that show each of the characters at a
certain point in their life when they have been happy
and with someone.
 An object is held in front of character 2 giving the
idea that there is something attaching her to this
object and there might be some trauma behind it.
The object is given to what seems to be by a
monsters hand and he has a tight grip on it as he
folds his hands shut.
 The shot changes quickly to character 3 being
dragged around without showing who is dragging
him but the shot quickly changes to show that the
monster is the one that is dragging the character as
his hand is seen leaving blood behind as he tries to
kill the character but with the fast paced movements
the hands of the monster disappear and appear
again making the audience wonder who is actually
killing the character.
 Character 1 is seen running to a wall and punching
the wall as blood is left behind. The head of
character 1 is smashed against the wall and the
hand of the monster appears and disappears as he
is smacked up against the wall.
 A dark room with a spot light in the centre shows the
character 2 walking towards the light as a hand is
seen coming in from the darkness into the spotlight
and character 2 walks to the hand. The other hand is
seen coming out in the spotlight with a knife and the
character is reaching out to get the knife and gets it.
As she takes
 the knife they start dancing where the monster
appears and disappears for some shots. Character 2
stops dancing and looks down at the knife and the
audience sees what the character does. As she sees
the knife she comes back to normal and her knife
drops on the floor and her eyes come back to
normal.
 As she realises where she is she falls down to her
knees and looks at her hands in despair but a
monster hand is seen reaching out from the
darkness next to her neck and she is reaching out to
hold it while her eyes change to red or yellow again.

Target audience
 Our target audience would be 16-30. this is because
there would be some themes of violence and threat.
We will be adding in some gore and taking part in a
drug trial.
Locations
 We will be filming in science for the first location.
This is where the scientist will be making the pills.
 Then we will be filming in drama for most of our
shots. This is where the most action will be
happening and give the audience an idea as to what
a whole film would look like.
 There will be some flashback scenes and these will
be filmed inside school in the corridor and on a
bench. Lastly one shot will be done outside the
school near the road.
Props
• A knife
• A Morph suit for the
monster
• Fake blood
• Coloured contacts
• Tablets with a tub
Health and safety
 For our film, there are some health and safety risks
involved, these are;
• Knife- we will be using a knife during filming so we will
have to be careful not to hurt anyone and make sure it is
put away once filming is done.
• Pills- we will have to ensure that there is no content in the
pills and that they aren't left anywhere once we have
filmed.
• Latex- this will be used for special effects and we will
have to do a patch test on everyone that will be wearing it
to ensure that they don’t have an allergic reaction.
• Contact lenses- we will have to buy our contacts from a
store that is licenced to sell them otherwise there is a risk
for infection.
Special arrangements
 We will have to get permission to be able to film in
the two main locations due to them being
classrooms. We will have to ensure that the room is
free at the time we need to film and the amount of
time we have to film compared to how much we
have to film.
 Furthermore we will have to arrange to use the
beakers from science and get permission to use
these as they are a feature in our film. In addition to
this we will need to use a knife from food science
and get permission to take this into drama.

The head of character 1 is smashed against the wall and the hand of the monster appears and disappears as he is smacked up against the wall.  A dark room with a spot light in the centre shows the character 2 walking towards the light as a hand is seen coming in from the darkness into the spotlight and character 2 walks to the hand. The other hand is seen coming out in the spotlight with a knife and the character is reaching out to get the knife and gets it. As she takes
  • 6.  the knife they start dancing where the monster appears and disappears for some shots. Character 2 stops dancing and looks down at the knife and the audience sees what the character does. As she sees the knife she comes back to normal and her knife drops on the floor and her eyes come back to normal.  As she realises where she is she falls down to her knees and looks at her hands in despair but a monster hand is seen reaching out from the darkness next to her neck and she is reaching out to hold it while her eyes change to red or yellow again.
  • 11. Target audience  Our target audience would be 16-30. this is because there would be some themes of violence and threat. We will be adding in some gore and taking part in a drug trial.
  • 12. Locations  We will be filming in science for the first location. This is where the scientist will be making the pills.  Then we will be filming in drama for most of our shots. This is where the most action will be happening and give the audience an idea as to what a whole film would look like.  There will be some flashback scenes and these will be filmed inside school in the corridor and on a bench. Lastly one shot will be done outside the school near the road.

  • 14. Health and safety  For our film, there are some health and safety risks involved, these are; • Knife- we will be using a knife during filming so we will have to be careful not to hurt anyone and make sure it is put away once filming is done. • Pills- we will have to ensure that there is no content in the pills and that they aren't left anywhere once we have filmed. • Latex- this will be used for special effects and we will have to do a patch test on everyone that will be wearing it to ensure that they don’t have an allergic reaction. • Contact lenses- we will have to buy our contacts from a store that is licenced to sell them otherwise there is a risk for infection.
  • 15. Special arrangements  We will have to get permission to be able to film in the two main locations due to them being classrooms. We will have to ensure that the room is free at the time we need to film and the amount of time we have to film compared to how much we have to film.  Furthermore we will have to arrange to use the beakers from science and get permission to use these as they are a feature in our film. In addition to this we will need to use a knife from food science and get permission to take this into drama.
