The UST Engineering Alumni Association plans to create multi-discipline cooperatives for civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, electronics, and industrial engineering students through the Commission on Higher Education. These cooperatives will be registered and jointly overseen by the association, faculty, and student representatives. The association will also register a confederation of the cooperatives with the Cooperative Development Authority and apply for membership with the Philippine Constructors Association to facilitate industry-academe collaboration. The cooperatives aim to provide students with access to industry referrals, training opportunities, and networking events through involvement with professional organizations.
