1. Potential Risk How to Prevent this Risk
Electrocution caused by placing the camera
in the sink whilst running the tap.
Purchase and place action camera inside a
waterproof casing. This will prevent any
contact between the camera and the water.
Pushing Rory to the ground whilst in the
forest could cause injury if he were to fall onto
any sharp objects.
Thoroughly search and clear the area in
which this will take place. Rehearse this idea
and create an illusion rather than making
physical contact, ensuring the fall is under
Rorys control.
Whilst in the forest there will be many trees
with numerous branches which could be
walked into/fallen into causing injury.
Ensure the area we are filming is an area
which has less trees with a small amount of
lower branches. Any branches which pose a
threat can be held back by JOsh our director
whilst filming. It is important that Josh has a
secure grip on these branches as if he
releases them they could cause further injury.
Rory could suffocate whilst tied to the tree
with a bag over his head.
Placing small holes in the bag will reduce the
possibility of suffocation. We have also set a
safe word so if Rory does feel uncomfortable
or unsafe a member of the team will be over
immediately to remove the bag.
Climbing the tree to place camera can lead to
a fall/slip meaning I will be likely to injure
myself.
With assistance and support from behind I will
climb the tree wearing suitable footwear and
clothing. Safety cannot be guaranteed during
this operation but I am confident in my ability
and feel that I will not be climbing to a height
where I would fall and seriously injure myself.
Whilst filming and moving together I am at
risk of falling.
I shall clear a path for myself before I carry
out any filming. I shall have Josh focus on the
ground in front of me incase I have missed
anything. If he spots any issues he can either
quickly remove the item or stop me.
Falling over equipment. To reduce this risk all equipment which is not
being used will be placed away from our
location.
