3. DEFINITION
OF MECAHNICAL
ENGINEERINGMechanical engineering is one of the oldest and broadest engineering
disciplines, and was developed from the application of principles from
physics and materials science.Mechanical engineers are responsible
for designing, building, installing and maintaining all kinds of me-
chanical machinery, tool and components. Construction is just one
area you could work in as a mechanical engineer – others include the
power, medical or manufacturing industries.
ROLE OF MECHANICAL
ENGINEER
Mechanical engineer manages the planning, design, construction and
maintenance of various mechanical systems, including Heating
Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and rain gutter systems, in
buildings and structures. They also performs the evaluation and
inspection of mechanical engineering projects to ensure that standards
and requirements are met. They also prepares, maintains and reviews
technical documentation, such as drawings and specifications, for
mechanical engineering projects. They follows applicable building codes
and safety regulations in mechanical engineering. They also set up
mechanical parts and specialise room condition such as room tempera-
ture and humidity .

4. ROLE OF ELECTRICAL
ENGINEERINGElectrical Engineer – Construction manages the design, construction
and maintenance of various electrical systems and components in
buildings and structures; ensures compliance with relevant building
codes and safety regulations.
A typical job description for the Electrical Engineer – Construction role
may include designs, tests, installs, and maintains large-scale electronic
equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing or power generation
or transmission.

IMPLEMENTED
1) LED LIGHT
-EFFICIENCY SAFE BUT NO SO EFFICIENT IN
MALAYSIA
2) T5 LIGHTING
-10%-20% ENERGY SAVE BUT MORE COSTLY
(NOWADAYS MOST OF THE COMPANY USE T5
LIGHTING INSTEAD OF T8 AND T12)
5. AUTOCADAUTOCAD is the most common software in constructuion field.
Every drawing is been computired using AUTOCAD software
and share out with other teamplays. Mechanical and electrical
engineer is not exceptional from using this software . There are
example of mechanical engineer and electrical engineer draw-
ings in AUTOCAD software.
HARDSHIPS
OF AN
ENGINEERMost of the engineers face the same hardship which is client and
government. Engineers have to achieve client requirement and
have to get approvement from the client before continueing the
process. They have to make sure that the clients are satisfy and
have to accept criteria from the client. Meanwhile , process for
project is 6-12 month due to the government but most of the client
or invester want to finish the project within 3 month . Without tehe
government approval , nothing can be done. They have to follow up
and explain to client time by time.
