Lead Engineer Severe Accident Management Project SNC (2013 – 2016)
Organized a nationwide industry group to ensure commonality in maintaining the
equipment used for the Severe Accident Project in accordance with federal rules.
Instrumental in getting a date base for equipment issues established by Electric
Power Research Institute (EPRI)
Oversighted portions of the Severe Accident Management Project that was
created to install systems as per federal order at Southern Nuclear reactor sites
to combat the problems encountered with Fukushima Daiichi reactor sites in
Japan during the earthquake and subsequent nuclear disaster that occurred on
March 11, 2011.
Provided oversight on the Accident Management Project and developed methods
to safely shutdown the reactors when only limited battery power remained.
Supervised control room operations of Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Power Plant.
Established maintenance program for equipment.
Principal Engineer PRA Services SNC (2011 – 2013)
Developed and worked with risk analysis models; used to predict failure of equipment as
well as when accidents occur.
Utilized Root cause Analysis expertise on multi projects resulting in recognition from the
Federal Regulator and company.
Develop a training program for new Risk Engineers to learn a familiarity with the PRA
using a Systematic Approach to Training
