Accenture to Acquire Maihiro, Boosting Customer Experience and Experience
Management Capabilities for SAP Solutions
Accenture has entered into an agreement to acquire maihiro, a provider of customer
experience and customer relationship management consulting, optimization and ongoing
enhancement services. The acquisition will help Accenture create solutions for clients that
drive innovation and transformation in marketing, sales and customer service. Founded in
2000 and an SAP® Gold Partner, maihiro is a leading provider of SAP-based customer
experience (CX), customer relationship management (CRM), and commerce services. The
acquisition aims to strengthen Accenture’s world-class SAP capabilities that help
organizations elevate customer experiences beyond expectations. With headquarters in
Munich, maihiro has approximately 160 skilled professionals in offices across Germany and
Austria.As part of Accenture’s strategy to enable clients to gain the most value from SAP
solutions, in May 2019, Accenture and SAP announced that they are co-developing and
co-innovating to accelerate development of the SAP® C/4HANA platform and build
industry-specific solutions that elevate digital customer experiences. In November 2018,
Accenture also acquired U.S.-based Intrigo Systems, a leading provider of advisory and
systems integration services for SAP enterprise and cloud solutions in e-commerce, supply
chain and procurement. In its 2019 fiscal year, Accenture invested nearly US$1.2 billion on
33 acquisitions globally to acquire critical skills and capabilities in strategic, high-growth
areas of the market.

Accenture to Acquire Symantec’s Cyber Security Services Business from Broadcom
Accenture has agreed to acquire Symantec’s Cyber Security Services
business from Broadcom, Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed. The
acquisition will make Accenture Security one of the leading providers of
managed security services, further enhancing its ability to help
companies rapidly anticipate, detect and respond to cyber threats.
Symantec’s portfolio of Cyber Security Services includes global threat
monitoring and analysis through a network of security operation centers,
real-time adversary and industry-specific threat intelligence and incident
response services. The six security operations centers are located in the
U.S., the United Kingdom, India, Australia, Singapore and Japan. Its
managed security services business is supported by a proprietary
cloud-based platform that delivers a steady stream of technical and cyber
adversary threat intelligence through a customizable portal.

Accenture Completes Acquisition of Clarity Insights
Accenture has announced that it has completed the acquisition of U.S.- based data consultancy Clarity Insights. Accenture had announced its intent to acquire the
company on December 13, 2019. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Headquartered in Chicago, Clarity Insights brings nearly 350 employees
with deep data science, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) expertise, along with a strong portfolio of accelerators, to Accenture’s Applied
Intelligence business. The addition of Clarity Insights further enhances Accenture’s ability to help enterprise clients scale AI, and bolsters its critical skills and

Proposed acquisition of Collins Aerospace’s Military Global Positioning System
business and Raytheon’s Airborne Tactical Radios business
BAE Systems plcannounces that it has entered into a definitive Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire
Collins Aerospace’s Military Global Positioning System business (“GPS business”) for $1.925bn in
cash, subject to customary closing adjustments. As an asset purchase there is an expected tax benefit
of c.$365m. The Company has also entered into a definitive Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire
Raytheon’s Airborne Tactical Radios business (“Radios business”) for $275m in cash, subject to
customary closing adjustments. As an asset purchase there is an expected tax benefit[i] of c.$50m.
Completion of both acquisitions are subject to successful closure of the Raytheon-United
Technologies Corporation (UTC) merger, as well as customary regulatory approvals and conditions.
These two proposed acquisitions represent a unique opportunity to purchase high quality technology
based businesses with market leading capabilities and long histories of pioneering innovation in their
fields. These assets have come to market as part of the regulatory process relating to the merger of
Raytheon and UTC. Both businesses are highly complementary to our US-based Electronic Systems
business and on completion they would be integrated into our Electronic Systems division. Both
businesses have strong growth outlooks driven by close alignment with the priorities outlined in the
US National Defense Strategy, Congressional mandates to upgrade existing capabilities and a
presence on a substantial installed base of products and platforms in the US and with allied nations.
Both transactions would be expected to be immediately earnings and cash accretive.

CGI acquires French retail solutions provider Meti to help drive retailers digital
and omni-channel evolution
CGI announced the completion of the acquisition of Meti Logiciels et Services
(Meti) through one of its European subsidiaries. A France-based company offering
integrated business solutions and consulting services for the retail sector, Meti works

Cignex Datamatics and Relevance Lab deal not approved by DGSL shareholders;
revised terms in discussions
Datamatics Global Services Ltd. (DGSL), a global IT & BPM
company, on December 12 2019, had announced to strategically
divest its stake in Cignex Datamatics Inc. to Relevance Lab, a
Singapore headquartered IT Services Company, through a
share-swap arrangement. DGSL has today shared that the deal to
divest stake in one of its subsidiaries, Cignex Datamatics Inc., could
not be completed as shareholders did not approve the proposed
resolution. The parties are reworking on the revised structure and
commercial terms, as a result of which the current Share Purchase
Agreement is likely to undergo a substantial change.Cignex
Datamatics Inc is a US-headquartered IT Services firm offering,
Open Source, Cloud, and Automation services.

NIIT Technologies Q3 FY’20 Revenue up 16% YonY, PAT up 34% YonY
• Consolidated revenues for the quarter under review grew 16.1% over the
same period last year and 3.4% sequentially over the preceding quarter to
Rs 1073.4 crore. EBITDA margin for the quarter was stable YoY at 18.1%.
• In reported terms, BFS contracted 1.3% QoQ contributing to 16.0% of
revenue, Travel Transportation and Hospitality (TTH) was up 6.2% QoQ
contributing to 28.5% of revenue, and Insurance grew 0.2% QoQ
contributing 30.2% of overall revenues. The “Others” portfolio grew 7.4%
QoQ and they represents 25.3% of overall revenues.
• Americas, EMEA, and ROW contributed 48%, 37%, and 15% of the
revenue mix.
• Fresh business of US$218 mn was secured by the company during the
quarter. As a result, the order book executable over the next twelve months
has also increased to US$424 mn.

recent example of improved lethality on the CV90. BAE Systems is currently executing a Swedish government contract to provide a
mortar variant of the CV90 called Mjölner that adds greater mobility to close indirect fire support.More than 1,200 CV90s of numerous

Accenture has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide systems
engineering and technology solutions that transform the way soldiers interact with Department of Defense information technology (IT) and to implement next-generation
technology advancements.DISA’s Systems Engineering, Technology, and Innovation (SETI) award is a five-year base IDIQ contract, with a five-year option period, with
a ceiling of $7.5 billion. The SETI contract is designed to address current and future mission requirements and increase IT capabilities through disruptive innovation. The
goal of the contract is to help DISA streamline critical engineering functions for the research, design, development, integration and optimization of defense IT
capabilities, systems and solutions.Under the terms of the agreement, Accenture Federal Services (AFS) and its teaming partners will compete for task orders to provide

Accenture Federal Services Awarded HUD BPA to Advance the Modernization
of Ginnie Mae’s Securitization Platform

Accenture has been awarded a position on a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) to provide the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae)
with information technology software development services and to modernize the proprietary applications, databases and systems that comprise Ginnie
Mae’s securitization platform technologies. The $127 million BPA — awarded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under
which Ginnie Mae operates — is for a multi-award contract over five years. Accenture Federal Services (AFS) was one of four contracting firms receiving
the award. The modernization of Ginnie Mae’s securitization platform involves applying innovative practices, including Agile software development, and
integrating new technologies, such as robotic process automation, to upgrade Ginnie Mae’s critical business operations. The transformation will help Ginnie
Mae deliver increased transparency, improve service delivery to issuers and investors, and adapt to evolving mortgage industry standards.To help accelerate
Ginnie Mae’s modernization priorities, AFS will engage the newly expanded Accenture Federal Digital Studio, a collaborative environment where AFS
professionals use the ground-breaking service design principles of Fjord, Accenture Interactive’s award-winning design consultancy, to help clients across
all sectors of the federal government create citizen-and user-centric solutions.To deliver the full scope of work necessary to modernize Ginnie Mae’s
securitization platform, AFS has teamed with Guidehouse, which has significant experience within the commercial and federal financial services industry
and also serves as Ginnie Mae’s securitized transactions financial advisor. In addition, subcontractor Clarifire will provide its robust workflow automation
platform to provide additional capabilities to Ginnie Mae.

Founded in 2000 and an SAP® Gold Partner, maihiro is a leading provider of SAP-based customer experience (CX), customer relationship management (CRM), and commerce services. The acquisition aims to strengthen Accenture’s world-class SAP capabilities that help organizations elevate customer experiences beyond expectations. As an asset purchase there is an expected tax benefit of c.$365m. The Company has also entered into a definitive Asset Purchase Agreement to acquire Raytheon’s Airborne Tactical Radios business (“Radios business”) for $275m in cash, subject to customary closing adjustments. As an asset purchase there is an expected tax benefit[i] of c.$50m. Completion of both acquisitions are subject to successful closure of the Raytheon-United Technologies Corporation (UTC) merger, as well as customary regulatory approvals and conditions. These two proposed acquisitions represent a unique opportunity to purchase high quality technology based businesses with market leading capabilities and long histories of pioneering innovation in their fields. These assets have come to market as part of the regulatory process relating to the merger of Raytheon and UTC. Both businesses are highly complementary to our US-based Electronic Systems business and on completion they would be integrated into our Electronic Systems division.
