• Ms. Teresita “Tess” Alcober Policarpio, is
a dynamic entrepreneur who used
Science and Technology to produce
quality products.
• A mother and wife who believes hard
work and perseverance can uplift a
family from poverty.
• Ms. Policarpio learned of DOST’s SETUP
while attending an inter-agency forum in
March 2003 at the Leyte SME
Development (SMED) Center in Tacloban
City.
