environmental management system that an organization can
use to enhance its environmental performance.
ISO 14001 Certification is intended for use by an organization
seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a
systematic manner that contributes to the environmental
pillar of sustainability.
The purpose of this standard is to help organizations to
protect the environment and to respond to changing
environmental conditions.

12. ISO 45001:2018 is the new international standard for occupational
health and safety (OH&S) management systems and will replace the
existing OHSAS 18001:2007 standard.
ISO 45001 Certification has the high level (HL) structure of the new ISO
Certification such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification, which will
facilitate integration with other ISO management systems.
The ISO 45001 standard goes beyond work health and safety and it also
considers the well-being of workers.
The company is in an elite category of business and internationally
recognised. ISO 45001 Certification puts your organization on a level of
excellence shared by organizations worldwide.
Satisfies demands of current or prospective customers for registration. A
superior pool of clients that accept competent and prospective
businesses.
13. Increased acceptance by regulators, the public, and interested
parties. Accepted as being proactive about Health and Safety
and continual improvement.
Improves business performance. A well designed, well
implemented ISO 45001 Certification health/safety management
system reduces workplace illness and injury and increases
productivity.
Creates consistency throughout the organization built around
“best practices”.
Allows better identification of hazards and risk.
Ensures compliance with all current legislation worldwide.
Improves the efficiency of internal operations, reduces
accidents, dangers, and downtime.
Improves the safety of all persons affected by the company’s
activities.
14. Improves management oversight. Incorporates monitoring
and measurement of key performance indicators in
health/safety. This gives management objective data upon
which to base decisions.
Facilitates continual improvement. Employee morale,
insurance costs, liability, etc. not to mention simple human
concern for the welfare of others — nothing in a business is
more important than improving health/safety performance.
Transforms your operation from detection mode to
prevention mode.
The benefits of Implementing ISO Certification are endless
and when implemented correctly it provides the company
with an effective tool that will show a return on investment.
With continued increases in insurance premiums, increased
injury claims and spiraling health care costs the
question companies need to ask themselves is can they afford
not to implement ISO 45001 Certification.
15. OHSAS 18001 Certification is generally accepted to all intents
and purposes as the most robust Occupational Health and
Safety Management System available to companies.
OHSAS 18001 was originally prepared as a proposed ISO
Certification but it has never had the formal recognition as a
national or international standard. Despite this OHSAS is
internationally accepted as the Health and Safety equivalent
as what ISO 9001 Certification is to Quality and ISO 14001 is
to the Environment. In fact OHSAS 18001 was developed in
response to a demand to a Health and Safety Management
System that can be integrated with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
16. Enables increased acceptance by regulators, the general
public, and other interested parties.
Companies that implement and maintain OHSAS 18001
Certification are accepted as being proactive about health and
safety and continual improvement.
Improves business performance. A well designed, well
implemented OHSAS health/safety management system can
help reduce workplace illness and injury and increase
productivity.
Creates consistency throughout the organization built around
“best practices”.
Certification also provides a platform for attracting lower
insurance premiums and proving due diligence to the
marketplace.
17. Allows better identification of hazards and risk management
and an overall better awareness of health and safety.
Place the company in an elite category of business and boosts
acceptance and reputation both nationally and internationally.
Registration to OHSAS 18001 Certification puts your
organization on the identical level of excellence shared by
organizations of all kinds worldwide.
It satisfies the demands of current or prospective customers
for registration. Companies certified to OHSAS 18001 have a
superior pool of clients that will accept them as competent,
perspective businesses.
Ensures compliance with all current legislation worldwide.
Improve the efficiency of internal operations. Reduce
accidents, danger and downtime and improves safety of all
persons affected by the companies activities.
18. Improves management oversight. An effective OHSAS 18001
Certification health/safety management system incorporates
monitoring and measurement of key performance indicators
in health/safety. This gives management objective data upon
which to base decisions. Internal auditing is an “early warning
system” to help you spot health/ safety threats – giving you
the chance to address and resolve them before they are
detected by others, rather than after.
Facilitates continual improvement. For many reasons –
employee morale, insurance costs, liability, etc.- not to
mention simple human concern for the welfare of others –
nothing in a business is more important than improving
health/safety performance.
Transforms your operation from detection mode to
prevention mode. Prevention is less work and less expense
than detection.
19. ISO 27001 Certification is the International Standards
Organization specification governing information security
management. Information security has broad implications for
company operations and interactions with customers. Internal
data and data submitted by customers and suppliers must be
handled securely. Apart from internal benefits from
comprehensive information security policies, your company
might need ISO 27001 Certification to qualify for work that
involves the handling of sensitive data. Such considerations
as well as the avoidance of costs associated with
compromised data make ISO 27001 certification beneficial.
20. Data Integrity
The integrity of individual data records is important to
maintaining large data banks. Even minor corruption of data
can cost your company because it is difficult to separate the
affected data and correct it. Extensive verification is usually
necessary. Data security systems according to ISO 27001
Certification help maintain data integrity and help solve
problems with compromised data. Access controls, data
organization and back-up procedures help maintain data sets
and help to identify questionable data after a security breach.
21. Intellectual Property
Companies spend a lot of time and money generating original
material for their own use and for sale to their customers.
This material derives its value from its restricted access.
Security systems set up in accordance with ISO 27001
Certification procedures help maintain access controls to
valuable material for which the company controls copyright.
These secure systems prevent external access and copying
for internal documents, and help manage how customers can
use company-owned material externally.
22. Privacy
The privacy of customers and employees is an increasing
concern for companies that store personal data. The failure of
many organizations to adequately secure personal data has
led to legislation in many jurisdictions. Storing personal
information securely, controlling access, using it only for
permitted purposes and destroying it securely when it is no
longer needed is easier when carried out in a structured way.
Applying ISO 27001 Certification procedures to the protection
of privacy lets your company reduce the likelihood of legal
sanctions and the possibility of losing the confidence of your
customers through privacy breaches.
23. Certification Requirements
Purchasers in general and those of data services in particular
want to be sure they are dealing with companies that have a
systematic approach to data security. They are especially
concerned when purchasing data-related services because
data security affects their own performance. Companies that
are certified for ISO 27001 Certification can provide
documented proof that they have carefully planned,
implemented and verified data security systems. In addition
to the actual certification, they can provide the extensive
documentation on their systems that was required for ISO
Certification.
24. ISO 13485 Certification is an internationally recognized
standard that sets out requirements for a comprehensive
management system for the design, development,
manufacture, installation and servicing of medical devices. It
is often seen as the first step towards achieving
compliance with European, Canadian and other regulatory
requirements for medical device manufacturers. This
system is essential for any organization operating at any tier
in the medical device supply chain.
Implementing this system means not only increased efficiency
and cost savings but the improved ability to win more
business through proven credentials.
25. Improved risk management and quality assurance
Meeting customer expectations and improved ability to
respond to customer requirements
Get ISO Certification Increased efficiency and cost savings
Improved ability to win more business through proven
business credentials
Help to maintain the quality of supply chain
26. ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management Standard replaces I.S. EN
16001:2009 and is compatible with the widely used ISO 9001
Certification Quality Management Standard (QMS) and ISO
14001:2015 Environmental Management Standard. It has
international recognition and is now considered the benchmark
standard worldwide for Energy Management.
The standard creates outline conditions that make it possible to
control energy consumption purposefully and improve energy
efficiency.
ISO 50001 Energy Management System requires organizations to:
Continually improve energy performance, including energy
efficiency, energy use and consumption
Review energy use, consumption and efficiency at defined
intervals
27. Document the methodology and criteria used to develop the
Energy Review considering facilities, equipment, systems or
processes;
Establish an energy baseline and identify EnPIs (Energy
Performance Indicators) appropriate for monitoring and
measuring it’s energy performance
Establish, implement and maintain documented Energy
Objectives and Targets
28. Satisfy the expectations of most stakeholders
ISO Certification Reduce costs and improve business
performance
Improve compliance with energy legislation
Reduce carbon emissions.
Demonstrate transparency and commitment
Identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure greater level of control
Enhance image.
29. HACCP, or the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point system,
is a process control system that identifies where hazards
might occur in the food production process and puts into
place stringent actions to take to prevent the hazards from
occurring. By strictly monitoring and controlling each step of
the process, there is less chance for hazards to occur.
The HACCP technique does this by identifying the risks,
establishing critical control points, setting critical limits, and
ensuring control measures are validated, verified and
monitored before implementation.
The effective implementation of HACCP will enhance the
ability of companies to: protect and enhance brands and
private labels, promote consumer confidence and conform to
regulatory and market requirements.
30. Halal is an Arabic word means allowed or permitted by Islamic
Law, as prescribed in the Qur’an (the Muslim scripture)
"O mankind eat what is Halal (lawful) and Tayyib (good, clean,
wholesome, pure, etc.) on earth and do not follow the footsteps
of Satan, truly he is an open adversary to you" (Surah Al Baqarah
2:168)
In relation to food, meat products, cosmetics, personal care
products, pharmaceuticals, food ingredients, and food contact
materials.
Halal in terms of food means that food must be:
1. Animals that are allowed and been slaughtered according to
Islamic Law, not killed by strangulation or killed by wild animals.

by Islamic Law.
32. HALAL Certification is required for cosmetics, food and other
products which comes in direct contact with food items.
In many countries like: Middle east, Saudi Arabia, Iran etc.
The criteria specifies both what foods are allowed, and how
the food must be prepared. The foods addressed are mostly
types of meat and animal tissue.
Halal certification is required to sell the food items.
HALAL Certification is often used in reference to foods and
drinks, i.e. foods that are permissible for Muslims to eat or
drink under Islamic Shariah (Islamic law).
33. Easy access to market of Muslim countries
Competitive advantage in export market
HALAL Certification requires safety and hygiene as well which is
important to third party
As a confirmation for Muslim customers that the food served is
Halal and is in accordance with Islamic Law.
Listing of your company in worldwide directory
Widen the range of customers by attracting Muslim customers
and non-Muslim who are Halal consumers.
Assure customers that the food served is Halal and healthy and
the premise's hygiene and sanitation procedures are in top-
notch.
