As a child, Lennon struggled in school but showed artistic talent, and he met Paul McCartney in 1957 leading to their iconic songwriting partnership. Lennon left The Beatles in 1969 and continued his successful music career with albums including his famous song "Imagine."

trouble. Lennon's school master thought that he could go to an
art school for college, since he did not get good grades in
school, but had artistic talent.
