• A small profile car.

5. OPERATOR COMPARTMENT
 It is a sitting area for the operator in the shuttle car.
 The operator changes hic position according to the direction of the movement of
shuttle car.

6. CABLE REEL COMPARTMENT
 A cable reel is a round, drum shaped object such as a spool used to carry various types of
electrical wires.
 Cable reel which can also be termed as drums have been used for many years to transport
electric cables, fiber optic cables and wire products.

7. CONTROLLER
• The controller takes power from the batteries and delivers it to the motor.
• The accelerator pedal hooks to a pair of potentiometers (variable resistors), and these
potentiometers provide the signal that tells the controller how much power it is supposed to
deliver.
• The controller can deliver zero power (when the car is stopped), full power (when the driver
floors the accelerator pedal), or any power level in between.

8. TRACTION MOTOR
• A traction motor is an electric motor used for propulsion of a vehicle, such as an
electric locomotive or electric roadway vehicle.

9. LIMITATIONS

 A combination of ac and dc power system.

10. WORKING IN MINES

speed.

cable.
