Corporate Overview
Organizational Chart
BRIAN NGUYEN | President
Mr. Nguyen brings over 15 years of proven skills and successful track records
in strategic planning as well as hands-on execution in operations to IMW
Industries. He possesses a strong combination of leadership, management,
interpersonal skills and technical proficiency, and will be a key player in
implementing IMW’ world-class global operations. Mr. Nguyen holds a bachelor
degree in electrical engineering and an EMBA. Prior to joining IMW, Mr.
Nguyen held key leadership positions at Sony Manufacturing System Corp,
Ballard Power Systems, Ultrasonix Medical Corp, Tavrida Electric North
America and Corvus Energy.
Management Team
DAVE ORTON | SVP Global Business Development & Marketing
Mr. Orton has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in sales,
marketing and general management including tenures at Canada’s largest
telecommunications providers and several new high-tech launches. His skill set
in high growth environments is supported by a strong background in green field
markets, business development, channel organizations and digital marketing,
all of which is enhanced by the operational perspective of multi-plant business
unit general management. Mr. Orton has significant international market
experience including Europe and Asia and holds a degree in Asian Studies
from the University of British Columbia.
RANDY SCANKS | Director of Finance
Mr. Scanks joins the IMW team as a Senior financial leader with over 20 years’
experience in the manufacturing and construction industries. Randy is a
Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He is
experienced with international operations, financial restructuring and growth
businesses. He has performed strategic planning and execution and is
technically strong in finance, accounting and taxation. Randy continues to
take an active role in the community through various Board positions with
volunteer organizations.
AGUSTIN CASTELLANOS | Director, Strategic Operations
Mr. Castellanos joins the IMW team with more than 18 years of experience in
the manufacturing and utilities environments. Mr. Castellanos is responsible for
Master Planning, Production Planning and Control, Quality and Industrial
Engineering departments. As well, his responsibilities include providing
leadership in end-to-end process development, systems implementation and
continuous improvement.
KEVIN NERLING | Director, Customer Care
Mr. Nerling joined IMW in 2004. Through entrepreneurial leadership, extensive
industry experience and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, Mr.
Nerling oversees the development of a strong network of IMW Customer Care
Service Centers located strategically throughout the world. Mr. Nerling has
extensive international business experience and is fluent in English, Spanish
and German. Before joining IMW, Mr. Nerling operated an industrial air
compression business and served twelve years as the Western Parts
Distribution Manager for Mercedes-Benz Canada.
Management Team
CRAIG PADBERG | Director, SCM & Manufacturing
Mr. Padberg has over 12 years experience in the alternative energy industry
bringing progressive experience in product launches, manufacturing and
international supply chain experience. Mr Padberg holds a B.Sc in
Environmental Science and several professional designations. Previous to
IMW, Mr. Padberg held management roles at Corvus Energy where global
Operations were established with Mr. Padberg leading the Supply Chain
Management and Production Planning functions. Mr. Padberg started his
career at Ballard Power Systems and has held roles in supplier development,
procurement and sourcing, manufacturing leadership and operations
leadership.
BRAD MILLER | Advisor to Management Team
Mr. Miller joined IMW Industries in 2003, as owner and president. The growth
and success of IMW led to their acquisition in 2010 by Clean Energy Fuels
(www.cleanenergyfuels.com), the North American leader in the provision of
CNG and LNG (liquefied natural gas) fueling facilities. Miller has been
recognized in a number of major media articles and awards most noteably
Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Clean Tech (2009) for his
progressive business approach, commitment to clean technology and his
record of success in difficult economic times, particularly for Canadian
manufacturing.

  • 4. BRIAN NGUYEN | President Mr. Nguyen brings over 15 years of proven skills and successful track records in strategic planning as well as hands-on execution in operations to IMW Industries. He possesses a strong combination of leadership, management, interpersonal skills and technical proficiency, and will be a key player in implementing IMW’ world-class global operations. Mr. Nguyen holds a bachelor degree in electrical engineering and an EMBA. Prior to joining IMW, Mr. Nguyen held key leadership positions at Sony Manufacturing System Corp, Ballard Power Systems, Ultrasonix Medical Corp, Tavrida Electric North America and Corvus Energy. Management Team DAVE ORTON | SVP Global Business Development & Marketing Mr. Orton has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in sales, marketing and general management including tenures at Canada’s largest telecommunications providers and several new high-tech launches. His skill set in high growth environments is supported by a strong background in green field markets, business development, channel organizations and digital marketing, all of which is enhanced by the operational perspective of multi-plant business unit general management. Mr. Orton has significant international market experience including Europe and Asia and holds a degree in Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia. RANDY SCANKS | Director of Finance Mr. Scanks joins the IMW team as a Senior financial leader with over 20 years’ experience in the manufacturing and construction industries. Randy is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He is experienced with international operations, financial restructuring and growth businesses. He has performed strategic planning and execution and is technically strong in finance, accounting and taxation. Randy continues to take an active role in the community through various Board positions with volunteer organizations. AGUSTIN CASTELLANOS | Director, Strategic Operations Mr. Castellanos joins the IMW team with more than 18 years of experience in the manufacturing and utilities environments. Mr. Castellanos is responsible for Master Planning, Production Planning and Control, Quality and Industrial Engineering departments. As well, his responsibilities include providing leadership in end-to-end process development, systems implementation and continuous improvement.

Through entrepreneurial leadership, extensive industry experience and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, Mr. Nerling oversees the development of a strong network of IMW Customer Care Service Centers located strategically throughout the world. Mr. Nerling has extensive international business experience and is fluent in English, Spanish and German. Before joining IMW, Mr. Nerling operated an industrial air compression business and served twelve years as the Western Parts Distribution Manager for Mercedes-Benz Canada. Management Team CRAIG PADBERG | Director, SCM & Manufacturing Mr. Padberg has over 12 years experience in the alternative energy industry bringing progressive experience in product launches, manufacturing and international supply chain experience. Mr Padberg holds a B.Sc in Environmental Science and several professional designations. Previous to IMW, Mr. Padberg held management roles at Corvus Energy where global Operations were established with Mr. Padberg leading the Supply Chain Management and Production Planning functions. Mr. Padberg started his career at Ballard Power Systems and has held roles in supplier development, procurement and sourcing, manufacturing leadership and operations leadership. BRAD MILLER | Advisor to Management Team Mr. Miller joined IMW Industries in 2003, as owner and president.
