• Commendador Almeida Roque Foundation was established in 2009 with the
mission of promoting, sponsoring and developing activities in the
field of education and training, as well as the insertion of citizens in active
life and the promotion of cultural, social and economic
development of Oliveira do Bairro and Bairrada’s region.

4. Commendador Almeida Roque Foundation
• The Foundation's main objective is to ensure the consolidation of the
IPB (Vocational Institute of Bairrada), an ambitious project with a crucial
need for the municipality of Oliveira do Bairro and for Bairrada’s Region.

Mayor: Duarte Novo, elected by CDS (01-
10-2017- right wing party).

7. IPB is a Business Reference School for Oliveira do
Bairro and for the Country.
Curricular offer:
1- Industrial Maintenance Technician of Metallurgy and Metal-mechanics;
2- Technician of Electronics, Automation and Command;
3- Industrial maintenance Technician;
4- Electrical Technician;
5- Technician of Electrical Installations and Technician of Machinery and
Programming (both of level IV).

8. Main purpose of the Institute:
