9. The completion of our mission isn’t something tangible.
From our experience these past four months, the most satisfying part
of interacting with the elderly has been simply giving them company
and being able to listen to what their opinions are.
For some of these people, we are their only outlet.
We know our mission is on the road to being completed through
bringing in youth who normally would not see the satisfaction in
doing an emotional and psychological service for the elderly, and
creating the beginning of a connection which will last for years
through the St. Luke’s Confirmation Program.
