Before we upload our video to a VOD service, we need to
export it from our editing software.
When we export our video from Premiere we can change
several options. What can we change?

11. Lossy vs Lossless compression
There are 2 types of compression, lossy & lossless:
● Lossy compression involves losing parts of the videos data that
aren’t required.
● What do you think lossless compression is?
● What might the problems of lossless compression be?
● The videos compression is set during export, when the video
editor chooses a video codec (h264, ProRes 422, ProRes 422 HQ
etc…)
