Flexible design
The trigger controlled reader features a large
flexible antenna that is designed to flex around
the books as it is moved down the shelf edge.
Once usage is complete the device can be
returned to the charging station.
Tag programming functionality
Provides the ability to program information
to a tag using the integrated barcode
scanner. The device will simply write the
barcode information to the tag
immediately.
Ease of data entry
In addition to the barcode scanner, the
handheld unit comes complete with a full
keyboard so that data may also be added
manually.
Colour touchscreen interface

Cost effective return system
smartblade™ 210 is ideal for libraries that wish to
automate the returns process, but perhaps do not
have the space for a full Automated Materials
Handling (AMH) system.
Feature a designated returns area of your library
Designed to be integrated into custom built library
furniture, the smartblade™ 210 system is intended
to be placed in a special return area of the library,
located in high traffic entrance areas.
Quick & easy returns for patrons
Using RFID antennas integrated into shelving, the
smartblade™ 210 immediately identifies returned
items, automatically enables the security and
removes the item from the patron’s account.

Discs are loaded into the unit by scanning the
item’s barcode or reading the RFID tag on the
case or disc. Discs are retrieved by scanning the
library card, item’s barcode or its RFID tag.
Communicates with LMS/ILS
When items are loaded, the unit associates the
item’s title information with the item’s barcode,
using SIP to communicate with the LMS/ILS
database.
Easy retrieval
smartdispenser™ 200 releases up to five
discs at a time. Multi-part sets are handled
as easily as a single disc. Indicators light up
at the disc dispenser location.
Dynamic storage
The unit can be configured with up to four
towers, holding 500 discs each, with a
maximum capacity of 4,000 discs. As the
media collection changes or new items
are added, items can be easily rotated in
