2. [
Who- students
What- Students who use the bus service
When- whenever
Where- bus stop
Why- Students will need the bus to go to places
]
3. [Problem – People often tend to get fed up of the old
fashioned bus timetable where the writing is tiny and can not
be read, this app would help scrap all the old timetables so
the timetables can now be interactive.]
4. [Do you get confused with the old fashioned bus
timetables that are already out]
5. [Key insight statement(s) – It will be quicker for people to check and to
check the updates on where the bus is and locate it to see if it is on
track and will be on time. You can buy your bus ticket on the app so we
can make money from people buying their bus ticket online. ]
6. [Mini Elevator Pitch]
My team, [team name], is developing [platform]
to help [target audience] [solve a problem] [with secret sauce]
My team, The Human Processors, is developing a phone app to
help students have easier to read bus timetable with the location
of where the bus currently is.
7. [User profiles]
People who uses busses regularly and rely on busses to either get to
work or education or just recreational and would like an easy to use
app that will help them decide which bus they should use
8. [Competitors or alternative solutions]
[That already exist in the market]
1 or 2 competitors but market is still not crowded.
9. [MVP user stories and feature chosen]
The core feature of the app is the bus timetable itself.
12. [Feasibility]
[Data, content, technical]
The feasibility is not an overly crowded market, we are obviously
trying to make our app different to all the others that are out there on
the market. A lot of data will be needed to store all of the information
on this app. The more people that will use this app then the more
space we will need for data. The content will aim to be as useful to the
people as possible, it would be useful if we got user feedback on our
app to see If we could change anything so that we could change the
content if we needed too. The technical part of the app will depend on
how many areas of the app will need to have code included.
14. [The main type of advertisements will be posters on busses because
these are the people we want to be advertising too, we could even get
a discount of the bus service because our app will help bring them
extra businesses and will decrease the amount of angry customers ]
15. App Design Mock-up
[Wildcard]
[Anything else you want to share?]
We showed our app idea to different experts, we all got different
feedback on the app that we had created. We will base our feedback
from the experts on improving our app.
Editor's Notes
What is the background situation you are addressing? Describe the context users are experiencing.Example: BuzzerBuddiez: Who? Students What? Students are studying for exams When? 7am Where? Student dorm Why? Late night cramming, student likely to oversleep
What specific problem do people encounter in that situation? Use the results from your user researchExamples: BuzzerBuddiez: your alarm does not work and you are thus late for: school, work, exams, doctor etc Transit: Many parents don’t speak English and their children have to translate the feedback that a teacher provides. When the feedback is negative students mistranslate. Oyster on the Go: You don’t remember how much money you have left on your pay-as-you-go Oyster card and run out of credit when you urgently need to get on a train Cattle Manager: You need to run backwards and forwards between the office and your cows, taking notes on paper and wasting time or loosing notes
What core question are you addressing with the app? Examples: BuzzerBuddiez: how can you avoid oversleeping? Transit: how can negative teacher feedback be translated accurately? Oyster on the Go: how can you be more aware of how much credit you still have on your Oyster card? Cattle Manager: how can you keep track of injections for your cows while you are out and about looking after them?
To introduce the judges to your team and the product, include your final min elevator pitch here.Example: - Buzzer Buddiez: Our team, [Buzzer Buddiez], is developing [a mobile app] to help [students] [who have studied late and are likely to oversleep because they hit snooze on their alarm clock] [to wake up on time with the help from friends and family]
Summarise what other solutions or alternatives you have found that already exist in the market and explain why they don’t fully solve the problem you are looking at or why your proposed solution is better.
Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of flow and if/ how you have already integrated any user feedback.
Show here what your MVP will look like in terms of the key wireframes of your app’score feature.
Summarise what you have learnt about data, content and technical feasibility. This is crucial, if your product relies heavily on any of these areas. If your product does not rely on them heavily, please explain why. This will show that your team has really understood feasibility well.
