Let's become poets!! I invite you to become writers and have some fun creating or, at least trying , acrostic poems. First of all, do you know what an acrostic poem is? It is a very good way of starting on poetry because they are the simplest form of poetry. There is no need to rhyme and you can write a poem even using only one word in each line. ACROSTIC POEM: a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a particular word or phrase. There are millions of well-known poets that have written acrostic poems.
