Poverty has negatively affected the Education in America
There are almost 2,7 million
The most people who have effected by poverty are low income.
They extremely have a hard time to build their future. According to the New York Times, “Another 2.6 million people slipped into poverty in the United States last year. According to the Census Bureau reported , and the number of Americans living below the official poverty line, 46.2 million people, was the highest number in the 52 years the bureau has been publishing figures on it. And in new signs of distress among the middle class, median household incomes fell last year to levels last seen in 1996.Lower income families who have a large number of children will accord this problem .The households can't cover the home needing. They have not the all ability to cover the family needing. There are many issues that really impact these people. There is so much stuff for lower income to cover in united state. They must to buy car insurance, health insurance, school tuition and others households needing."
By the year 2020, the majority of students in America's public schools will be living in circumstances that will categorize them as at risk of educational failure. A person's education is closely linked to the individual's life chances, income, and well being"

There are three issues which are the most effected the education in America. They are food supply, The lower income people can't provide enough food for themselves. The households are having a hard time to provide en enough food for their children. Drop-off in the reach of U.S. summer nutrition programs in 2010 and ongoing budget-cutting at state and local levels suggest that many schoolchildren in the United States will face another summer of hunger this year. According to a new report from the Food Research and Action Center, despite record numbers of children receiving free and reduced-price meals during the 2009-10 school years, participation in federal summer nutrition programs fell nationally in 2010. FRAC reports that in July 2010 only 15 children received nutrition aid for every 100 low-income students who received lunch during the 2009-10 school years. The food supply is really affected the kids to be success in their school. The way to solve this issue is must provide enough food that could be useful to a void . (Battle and Lewis 2002). Moreover, in the last ten years, there
was growing a huge gap between the top income class and the
less income class
There are three issues which are the most effected the education
in America. They are food supply, The lower income people
2. can't provide enough food for themselves. The households are
having a hard time to provide en enough food for their children.
Drop-off in the reach of U.S. summer nutrition programs in
2010 and ongoing budget-cutting at state and local levels
suggest that many schoolchildren in the United States will face
another summer of hunger this year. According to a new report
from the Food Research and Action Center, despite record
numbers of children receiving free and reduced-price meals
during the 2009-10 school years, participation in federal
summer nutrition programs fell nationally in 2010. FRAC
reports that in July 2010 only 15 children received nutrition aid
for every 100 low-income students who received lunch during
the 2009-10 school years. The food supply is really affected the
kids to be success in their school. The way to solve this issue is
must provide enough food that could be useful to a void . "
One in eight Americans — 37 million — received emergency
food help last year, up 46% from 2005, the nation's largest
hunger-relief group reports today. Children are hit particularly
hard, according to the report by Feeding America, a network of
203 food banks nationwide. One in five children, 14 million,
received food from soup kitchens, food pantries and other
agencies, up from 9 million in 2005, the year of the group's last
major survey"( Wend Koch). Hopefully, the food banks can be
useful to decrease the food supply. Food banks would cover a
big part of the food supply. In this case, the children won't
affected by food supply. They will be successes in their schoo
ls. Second of all, there is a huge gap in performance between
rich and the poor students in America. "In 2008, the graduation
rate African-Americans was 61.5% compared to 81% for whites.
There is report says that almost 60000 schools in America truly
need to reform and repairs".
““We have moved from a society in the 1950s and 1960s, in
which race was more consequential than family income, to one
today in which family income appears more determinative of
educational success than race,” said Sean F. Reardon, a
Stanford University sociologist. Professor Reardon is the author
3. of a study that found that the gap in standardized test scores
between affluent and low-income students had grown by about
40 percent since the 1960s, and is now double the testing gap
between blacks and whites. In another study, by researchers
from the University of Michigan, the imbalance between rich
and poor children in college completion — the single most
important predictor of success in the work force — has grown
by about 50 percent since the late 1980s”( SABRINA
TAVERNISE). Unfortunately, this gap is still growing and
making a big different social level. The main reason of growing
this gap is rich student families whom invest their money and
time in recreation spicily in the weekends. The most effected in
this point are single parent. According to the New York Times
article
Education Gap Grows between Rich and Poor, Studies , “One
reason for the growing gap in achievement, researchers say,
could be that wealthy parents invest more time and money than
ever before in their children (in weekend sports, ballet, music
lessons, math tutors, and in overall involvement in their
children’s schools), while lower-income families, which are
now more likely than ever to be headed by a single parent, are
increasingly stretched for time and resources. This has been
particularly true as more parents try to position their children
for college, which has become ever more essential for success
in today’s economy” (SABRINA TAVERNISE) Furthermore,
there could be a solution for this issue, policy makers and
educators must look to this point seriously. Because, this case
could helps to prepares jobs and the poor children can support
their parents. Hopefully, this huge gap will narrow down that
surely will help the poor children get a better condition
education.
Third of all, home environment is biggest issue that has
affected the education in America. Students must to live in an
ideal home environment that will help them to be success. "
reported that family environment, including socioeconomic
status, played a key role in students' academic achievement and
4. performance. The intent of the study was to present a profile on
selected urban youth in inner-city communities in the West
Jackson Area to determine how selected risk indicators
impacted academic achievement"(Brown-Ford, Carrie). Families
must to provide a safe and quit please for their kids. Students
should be out of disturbance that will help them to get more
attention and focus. This issue is always harm the poor
neighborhoods. This issue has affected the education in the
poor neighborhoods. It's really households issue and
government education system. They must to provide a solution
to avoid this negatively affect. Moreover, here in America,
there are several home environment. Such as California area is
way different than Washington area. The kids who raise there
would be different than the kid who raise in Washington area.
The external factors is the very vertex part of affecting the
education. In the whole world, the poor neighborhoods are
always risk areas." The researcher predicted that students
exposed to negative socialization patterns in their homes and
communities would have a strong possibility of developing and
exhibiting those same behaviors through varied means of
negative expression. These behaviors were categorized as
alcohol and drug use, poor academic performance, gang activity
and delinquency"( Brown-Ford, Carrie). Furthermore, the poor
neighborhood must be protected of external factors. Because,
that case really affected the education negatively. Hopefully,
the poor neighborhoods would be equal to the rich
neighborhoods in the education level.
In sum, poverty has negatively affected the education in
America. . In the meanwhile, poverty is becoming a serious
issue that is effecting the education in America. There are three
issues which are the most effected the education in America.
They are food supply, huge gap between poor and rich in
education and home environment. There fund out that a proved
there is a huge gap in education between rich and the poor
students. Hopefully this issue avoid and solved in the future.
Moreover, , home environment is biggest issue that has affected
5. the education in America. Students must to live in an ideal
home environment that will help them to be success. The most
important point of solving this issue is policy makers and
educators must look to this point seriously. Because, this case
could helps to prepares jobs and the poor children can support
their parents.

This seems to contradict the quote from the New York Times.

poverty is virtually the same as low income; expl

This quote is too long; break it up and comment on it line by
line, or cut some of the information that isn't as vital to your
argument.

You have to open and close your quotes. It's unclear what the
quote is here.

6. Cite specific statistics that show exactly what this gap is, and
what counts as higher income or lower income.

You have to prove and show how adequete food supplies will
help the students be successful.

You've already stated this statement in your intro sentence. You
should be giving reasons for HOW the gap is affecting
education. You're also talking mosly about race in this
paragraph which is a good idea, but it's not exactly the same as
income levels.

Remove italics

What specifically are the differences? You should probably just
cut this.

7. Final Grade 2.0
Your evidence is well put here, but you need to explain its
significance and tie it all into your larger point. Remember, just
saying that poverty negatively effects education is not enough.
You need to make a point about American culture (that all these
policies ensure that the poor will only get poorer as the rich get
richer). Obviously poverty will effect the quality of education;
so what? Why is it bad? Some americans will seriously argue
that the poor deserve to stay that way; arguing against that view
may give you your greater meaning.
