7. Things to CHEER About!!!
 Our Math scores have improved each year!
 The Math scores are also higher than the district
average!
 Congratulations to the Math Department and
students for achieving this!

8. Areas of Improvement
 Reading scores are significantly lower than the
district’s average.
 FCAT Science scores decreased by 6% from the
previous year.
 Writing scores improved from 2011-2012 to 2012-2013
but dropped again in 2013-2014.
 Note – This can be attributed to the increase in the
passing score from 3.0 to 3.5

9. Goals for This Year
 Reading Proficiency increased by 10%
 Math Proficiency increased by 5%
 Science Proficiency increased by 7%
 Writing Proficiency increased by 10%
