7. Things to CHEER About!!!
Our Math scores have improved each year!
The Math scores are also higher than the district
average!
Congratulations to the Math Department and
students for achieving this!
8. Areas of Improvement
Reading scores are significantly lower than the
district’s average.
FCAT Science scores decreased by 6% from the
previous year.
Writing scores improved from 2011-2012 to 2012-2013
but dropped again in 2013-2014.
Note – This can be attributed to the increase in the
passing score from 3.0 to 3.5

Reading Proficiency increased by 10%
Math Proficiency increased by 5%
Science Proficiency increased by 7%
Writing Proficiency increased by 10%
