Pitch
• Muse is a new music magazine that is aimed mostly for young women from 16-24, white Caucasian
in the middle class. This will be a monthly magazine, so the cost will be around £3.50. The reason
why I called my magazine ‘muse’ is not because of the band ‘Muse’, but when I searched it on
Google, I found out that: As a noun, it means a person — especially a woman — who is a source of
artistic inspiration. I thought this fitted well to my title, because my magazine is aimed for women.

• This magazine will cover all aspects of the most popular music in the present time. The music genre
is mostly pop and R&B, but it can also be another genre that is popular for the moment. It will
contain interviews with famous artists, gossip about the celebrities alongside reviews of
bands/artists and concerts. It will also review new albums and give an overview of the most
    popular songs/albums of the month/week.

• Muse magazine will be simple in style, but will not look cheap and at the same time look
interesting. The pictures and text is given breathing space so things won`t look messy. All in all, the
magazine will look cool and have the quality that a monthly magazine should have.

• The example double page spread will be an interview with One Direction, discussing their tour and
new album. This interview will be supported by one or two pictures of the band, and it will also be
side bars giving brief history to fill new readers in on the bands past. Another sample of double
page spread is an article about an upcoming star who tells about his/hers life etc.
