The Management Excellence Center of the Institute of Business
Management (IoBM) offers accelerated preparatory courses particularly
designed to facilitate the participants with the necessary skills to qualify
for the ACCA Essentials Modules comprising the following courses:
P1 P2 P3
Governance, Corporate Business
Risk and Ethics Reporting Analysis
Course Duration: 3 Months (48 classroom hours)
Beginning from Saturday, September 17, 2011
Timing for Classes:
P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics (Sunday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
P2 Corporate Reporting (Saturday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
P3 Business Analysis (Sunday: 9:00 AM -1:00 PM)
Admission Criteria
ACCA students who are eligible to appear for the examination in
December 2011 may register for these courses.

Instructors
P1 Governance, Risk and Ethics
Mohamed Aslam Dossa, Head of the Department of Commercial and Professional Studies at IoBM. He is a Chartered
Accountant and a Chartered Management Accountant (England). He has held senior management positions in
Pakistan, England, Tanzania and Canada, besides having over 15 years of teaching experience.
P2 Corporate Reporting
Javaid H. Zuberi is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost and Management Accountant. He has worked at leading
positions in various organizations, such as Whinney Murray & Co., Xenal Industries in Jeddah, ICAP. Mr. Zuberi has also
taught at University of Karachi, SBS, CBP, Al Hamd Academy and CAMS.
Mahwish Baasit Hussain is a Gold Medalist as well as a Fellow member of the ACCA. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science
in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. Her area of expertise lies in teaching ACCA, CAT, CIMA, CA and
BBA courses at the College of Accounting and Management Sciences (CAMS).
P3 Business Analysis
Mustafa Hassan Lakhani, is a Chartered Accountant and a Cost and Management Accountant. He is currently the CFO
and Company Secretary at Indus Motors Company Ltd. He has 18 years of work experience, working in both U.A.E as well
as Pakistan.
