Audience Research 
Questionnaire – Film Consumption 
1. Where do you watch your film trailer? 
2. Which movie trailers were you persuaded to watch? 
Please state the following below: 
3. How many film trailers do you watch monthly? 
4. What film genre trailers do you like to watch? 
5. Do you comment on any of these trailers? 
6. Have you ever recommended a movie/trailer to anyone? 
7. Why do you watch trailers? 
8. Which movie are your all-time favorites? 
List two movies below: 
I have made 15 copies of this questionnaire and I have found out 
that 15/15 people watch trailers on YouTube. This was the first 
question of my questionnaire. 
The second question was about what were the movies the 
audience were persuaded to watch. 15/15 answered differently 
and 11/15 people said they were persuaded to watch Ouija a 
very popular horror movie.

One of the questions I have on my questionnaire was how many 
trailers do you watch monthly. Everyone who took part in this 
questionnaire answered that they watch at least four or five 
trailers a month. 
The fourth question was what genre of movies they like to watch. 
3/15 said they watch Romance genres, 3/15 said they watch 
horror, 4/15 for Horror, 3/15 for action and finally 2 for comedy. 
Another question I have put in the questionnaire was if people 
comment on these trailers. 2/15 people said yes and a large sum 
of people said no which was 13/15/ 
I have made another yes-no answer question. This was about if 
they have recommended a movie/trailer. All 15/15 people said 
they have this shows that people are wager top watch new film 
release and that this is what younger adults like doing. 
Finally my last question was what their all-time favorite movies is. 
They all answered differently and that there were two movies but 
they couldn’t choose which was the most fav orite as it was really 
hard to choose. 
Methods: SECONDARY 
Techniques: The techniques I will be using for this is a 
quest ionnaire this is because I am asking people to 
fill in a form to help me with my research. 
Information Log: See at tached pieces of paper. (quest ionnaire) 
Organization: I will be filing it in the Haverstock media blog. This is 
where all my work will be uploaded on. I will be 
put ting this part icular work in a t ime line folder 
where it will be marked. 
Relevance: This piece of work is relevant this is because I am 
able to see what the target audiences like/prefer 
watching and the sort s of genres they are into. This 
will also help me make my own t railer even bet ter 
so I could get feedback.
