Designs
Our theme forare website wasaboutsuperheroesandwe hadto pickone superheroandtalkabout
it.I pickedsuperman,soIhad to pickrelevantcoloursandgetpicturesof supermanputit as
backgroundchange the writingwascolourful veryeye catching.Mytargetaudience are people from
11 till 30 I wouldsaybecause there are lotsof olderpeople thatstill interestedinsupermanandhe’s
movies,comicsandmywebsite givespeople the opportunityto findthose thingsforexample my
mediapage has YouTube linksof superman’strailerwhichhelpsmyaudience tofinditquicklyalso
my merchandise page haslinksof pagesthatsell T-shirtsandall supermanmerchandisesandfinallyI
have anotherpage that all the comics forpeople thatare interestedinsupermancomics.
Final product
Firstof all I had to planhowI wantedmywebsite tobe then,Istarteddoingit all onPowerPoint
presentation, thenIstarteddesigningwhatmybuttons lookedlikeandsavingthemaspictures will
look like and doingthe back groundpictures thensavedthemall asassets,thenwe hadto design
are website on dreamweaverandsave all the buttonsascontextof the website savedassingle
picturesfromeachof the pagessuch as Home,Media,Merchandise.

twobuttonsbecause one isnormal and the otherone is withglow sowhenI putit on mywebsite it

go on mywebsite theyall linkandIcan go frompage to anotherpage.
I feel thatmywebsite issuccessfulitmightnotlooklike whatIhad plannedfromthe beginningbut
the endresultam happywith,Ifeel that’sit’sveryeasytofindwhat youlookforon my website,and
clear,I made sure I didn’thave to muchinformationonthere andthe colourssuitmy superhero.
Evolutionof my work
I firstdesignedmywebsite onpiece paperputtingall myideastogether,whatIhadplanedandwhat
turnedoutat the enditstotallydifferent,asIwas designingmywebsite Irealisedthatalotof the
ideasIhad at the beginningwasn’tgoodformywebsite soI was changingmyminda lot,mycolours
had nothingtodo withsupermanatfirstthenI changedmy mindandmade it simple andclearand
linkstomy actual hero,I had lotsof picturesandwasplanningtohave extrapages,couldn’tdomost
of that, because didn’thave enoughspace formore pagesandthe picturesdidn’tlookprofessional
and wasn’tclear.I wantedtomake my website assimplestasIcan make itclear andunderstandable
for myusers.

The whole unit11 has taught me how todesignprofessional website,butalsoshowedme how
much workgoesinto it so itcouldbe professional andunderstandablewebsite,lotsof planning
goesinto it youhave to thinkabouteverymove youmake alsoI learned how touse my planning
skills,changingthingsupconstantly.Thisunithasalsotaughtme how to use Dreamweavernever
useditbefore,soitwas difficultatfirstbutafterthe planningandall the notesI didhelpedme build
my website.Ialsolearnedaboutwebauthoring,protocols,designconventionsandsoftware all of
these helpedme designmywebsite.Thisunithasalsotaughtme the differentsoftware tohelpme
withmypage suchas HTML texteditorsandDreamweaver.My final productiswaydifferentthen
my actual designs Ichangedso manythingwhile developingmywebsite someare goodandsome
are bad butI am veryhappywithmy results.
