1. GC2: Carrying Out Maintenance
This is all the picture evidence of how I carried out the maintenance of all the equipment
throughout checking through the lighting rig of the Drama Studio. I had to fix any problem
that occurred and follow through the guide I made to help instruct what to do in all problems
that may occur.
This is picture evidence of me finding a Fresnel. After going
into the drama studio and counting the lights I found there was
not the correct amount therefore I had to re locate another
Fresnel from the back on the hall on the lighting rack.
When walking into the
Drama studio, I also
had to check if the
accessories in all of the
light were correctly
attached. When looking
I found out that one of
the lights had a Gel
Frame that was attached
incorrectly and only
had two clips. This is
picture evidence of me
when I had to locate a
new one from the back of the hall and attach it correctly back to the light making sure all
three clips were attached to the Gel Frame.
Another accessory that was incorrect within the rig in the
Drama studio was the Barn Doors. They were attached
wrongly with only two clips attached which is not correctly
attached safety. This is picture evidence of me collecting a
correct Barn door which is located from the back of the hall
ready to attach it to the rig properly and securely.

2. When walking into the Drama studio, I also had to check if all of
the lights were correctly attached. When looking I found out that
one of the lights didn’t have a G-Clamp and one was not present.
This is picture evidence of me when I had to locate a new one from
the back of the hall which can be found hung on the lighting rack
and then I had to correctly attach it to the light in the rig to make
sure it was secure and tight so the light will not fall.
When walking into the Drama studio, I also had to check if all of the
lights were correctly attached. When looking I found out that one of
the lights didn’t have a Safety Chain and one was not present. This is
picture evidence of me when I had to locate a new one from the back
of the hall which can be found hung above the lighting rack on a hook.
I had to make sure it was secure and tight and then I had to correctly
attach it to the light in the rig to make it will not fall.
