This is the Film concept for my A2 5 minute final film project.

1. Film Concept - Awestruck
Nickand Seanare twobest friendslivingtogether.Since they’re bothteenagers,withgrowingage and
changingfeelings,they’re takinglife one stepatatime.Nicklikesagirl namedEmily,whoisalsohisand
Sean’sclassmate.WhereasSean,well,he’sgayandhas a secretcrush onNick.Beingunaware of the
situation,NickhopelesslyfallsforEmilybuthe isa workaholicsowhenthere are chorestocomplete
and tasksundone,he shutsthe worldoutuntil he’sdone withit.He evenignoresEmilyatthatpointin
time.
The movie startswithNickwakingupfrom sleepandfindsthatseanhasbeenholdinghishandwhile
sleeping,thisdisgustshimabitandhe shrugs hishandoff in angerand goesto the washroom.When
Seanwakesuphe findsthatNickhas gone somewherewithouttellinghimandhe getsworriedsohe
rushesto the communityparknearbywhere he findsNickandEmilyjoggingtogetherandtheyseem
happy.ThissightmakesSeanjealousandhe runsup to nickand grabs hishand,tellshimhe gotworried
and he shouldn’tleave withouttellinghim.NickgetsangryandtellsSeantobuzzoff.
ThenSeanand Nickgo back to theirplace andwhile Nickisgettingsome workdone,Seantriesto
apologize byholdinghishandorgivinghimahug, andthisirritatesNick.Justwhenhe’s abouttoscold
Sean,Nick’sphone ringsandit’sEmilybut Seanpicksit upand whenEmilytellshimthatshe wantshelp
withhercollege assignmenthe tellsherthatNickwon’tbe available since theybothare busy.
ThisangersNickmore andhe shoutsat Seanand leave’stohelpEmilybutasusual Seantags along.
Thisway theystart hangingoutand Emilystartsnoticinghow muchSeancares for Nicketc.Andthis
makesherthinkthat he’sa nice guybut more than that he’san amazingfriendhence she fallsinlove
withSean.But little doesshe knowthatSeanisgayand iscrushingon Nickand it’sNickwhoisvery
much intoEmily.
