Frogs start as eggs that hatch into tadpoles, which undergo metamorphosis to become adult frogs. Frogs have long hind legs, short bodies, webbed fingers and toes, protruding eyes, and no tail. They lay eggs in water, where the eggs hatch into tadpoles that develop gills and later lungs when they transform into adult frogs able to live on land or in water. Frogs can move by jumping, running, walking, swimming, gliding, and climbing.
