- developing empathy: Wendy is lost. How do you think she feels?
- asking questions: Wendy needs to know where the post office is so she asks the Policeman. Write the question
-Graph-reading -comp Look at Wendy's map. Then look at the bar graph and answer the questions: How many churches are there in W's town? How many banks are there in W's town? Is there any Library in W's town?
