2. I decided from the three same poses I have taken the one with a blue border is the best shot. This is because I like the use of the flash as it gives more colour in the image whereas the others look more plain. Also it looks like she is more into the camera and her facial expression looks realistic whereas the others you can see she is trying not to smile. I decided to cut the others out because her face was covered in the middle image and I didn’t want her to smile. I cut the image at the end as it doesn’t look professional she doesn’t look relaxed and again you can see her grin.
3. I decided from these three photos the one with a blue border was better then the other two. This is because the other two looks like she is bored and wouldn’t really connect to the viewer as it doesn’t look enthusiastic. The one I thought was the best looks more profession and would bring attention from viewers as it sharp and a nicer pose. Also in the middle image there is a flash on the belt which I don’t like.
4. Out of these three I prefer the one with a blue border. This is because I did not like the pose in the middle as it wouldn’t work on a music magazine because I don’t want my model to be leaning on the background. This is the same for the last one and also if I edit her hands from the poles it would look random as her hands will just be floating in the air. I like the first pose as it works for a magazine cover and can be cropped to mid shot level as if it stayed long shot it wouldn’t look right without the shoes as they did not appear in the image.
5. This was a difficult choice to make as I like all of these poses. I don’t think the last one will work well with my cover compared to the other two. Looking at the middle and first image they both look attractive and works well. However I was inspired by the first image by a magazine cover I saw and also a photoshoot that was taken in a modelling shoot.
6. Inspiration I really liked how Janet Jackson is posing as it stands out and the use of explanatory and cover lines worked with it. However I did not understand why she had a camera in the image so I looked at this modelling shoot and this had inspired me to do a shoot like this. This is because I liked how the models hair looks and her pose is a bit different to the vibe magazine. This is why I will choose the image I picked from the previous slide.
