628650-1714505419725-228600To compare parts of the eye to a camera, I disassembled a camera and looked at the different parts. 1. The cornea of an eye is like the cover of a camera lens where light passes through. 2. The pupil of an eye is like the aperture, the hole in the diaphragm. The size of the pupil changes to control how much light comes in.3. The diaphragm of a camera is like the iris of an eye. The iris is what changes the pupil’s size.4. Cameras and eyes both have lenses. A digital camera’s lens sends light rays to the CCD chip. A human eye’s lens sends light rays to the retina. 5. The CCD chip is like the retina of an eye. They change the light rays into the image we see.I learned how the human eye is very similar to a camera. They have many similar parts that function in the same way.-2667003581400-914400-914400Camera and Human Eye Comparison by Alex Byun <br />
