software development company. Creating and managing sales channels, go to market strategy and
managing both front-end sales engagements and back-end technical work to ensure efficient and
profitable projects for both company and clients.

• Matrix managed technical and commercial specialists to engage customers with thought-leadership
propositions around next generation mobile services. Closed >£2m of new business within 3 months.
o Senior Business Analyst, BSkyB Telecoms Mar 2008 – Aug 2008
• Engaged with the business to define and design new Broadband and Telephony products. Aspects
included business processes and systems specifications to support them and advising on Regulatory
and Legal aspects and integration with Openreach’s systems and processes.
o Lead Solution Consultant, Telecoms Practice, Wipro Sep 2007–Feb 2008
• Worked with Tier 1 Telco clients, incl. C&W and Portugal Telecom to address a wide range of tactical
and strategic issues, e.g. reduce cost, improve security, efficiency and profitability. Defined the
approaches to new product design, launch and support for some of PT’s “next-gen” services.

• Role was to understand problems or scope new product opportunities and then deliver strategic
recommendations on the best approach in terms of systems, processes, technical, Regulatory and
Legal implications. Documented strategies for BT to save £m’s through changes in approach.
o Transformation Consultant – Bahrain Telecoms Nov 2005 – Nov 2006
• Led an 18-man/month audit of existing BSS systems to provide a strategic roadmap and high-level
consolidation/transformation programme for migration to a new NGOSS/BSS architecture across three
lines of business, creating alignment between people, process and technology.
o Interim Programme Auditor/Consultant - Telco Vendor Jan 2005 (3 weeks)
• Undertook a rapid assessment of a derailed OSS/BSS software development/SI programme to identify
the problems and provide proposals for resolution to return the project to agreed timescales,
functional specification and profitability.
o Interim Solutions Consultant - Tech Mahindra May 2004 – Jan 2005
• Built and managed a new consultancy/pre-sales team, owning numerous £multi-million NGOSS/BSS
business opportunities in BT’s 4 main Lines of Business. Managed the customers’ requirements and
expectations, from proposals to transitioning into Delivery.
o Interim Feasibility Consultant - BT Exact Jan 2004 – Apr 2004
• Managed feasibility studies, for a range of new products and services for BT Retail and BT Wholesale.
Analysed the technical, commercial, legal and regulatory implications of proposed new solutions and
provided high-level design and “Go/No-Go” recommendations to senior management.
o Interim Project Manager - UK Government, DEFRA Aug 2003 – Dec 2003
• Recovered a stalled project to implement Oracle Financials (11i) as the new accounting system within
this major Government Ministry.
