   Concept Design Services (CDS) was in B2B business and then it
    transformed into B2C business.
   It would be identified that the industrial markets were becoming more
    difficult with very less profit.
   They have two plans for supply services first is plan & schedule production
    in order to maintain inventory availability. Other is distributes the product
    from the warehouse to the customer.
   Just in 1 year they had over 3000 retail outlets signed up and provided
    each with point-of-sale display facilities and high quality brochures.
   Productivity improvement
   They normally allow 3 shifts for testing of each new module received In the
    supply services.
   So, this strategies are affected to the marketing operations & supply
    services.
   The large range of products were moved to packing area, where
    they have modified or labelled.

   The most recent Robotic device to remove finished Goods to place
    for Packing Area.

   Products was inspected, packed in bags or cartons & palletized.

   Good Platform access to load delivery vehicles.

   To Plan & Schedule Production in order to maintain Appropriate
    inventory Availability.

   Then systematic study is done for distribution of Products which is
    from warehouse to Customer.
   They already have skilled and experienced labours to maintain new
    larger machines easily who formed industrial product.
   Withdrawl from complex and cynical industrial mouldings and
    concentrate on household products.
   In 1990 all the integrated business was terminated and they had
    high focus on relatively new market.
   It was recognized as carrying risks, and differentiated themselves
    from the competitors.
   It was widely enforcing on customer focused service.
   Supply services have two plans 1)-Maintain appropriate inventory &
    2)-distribute the products to customers.
   It increased the sales of the company and the whole strategy was a
    reason of great success for the company.
   Answer 4 :
•CDS had several partnerships with the Italian design houses, and
they are most successful companies of Italian design. So they got
the patent of their design so their manufacturing department
made the same design. and they were able to translate the
most difficult technical design into manufectureable & stable
products.

•This type of collaboration involved CDS taking responsibility for
the whole category of plastic home wares for a large
supermarket group. And the product ranges supplied were not
particularly adventurous in their design or colors but most were
clearly in the “CONCEPT” style and often carried the concept
brand.

•CDS had a good marketing capabilities but they have to design
new products aspect from the only kitchen appliances like they
have to come up into the furniture & another designing field so
maybe they can get more effect on market & make profit also.
   CDS have a good design in the kitchen appliances. And it was a
    one of the best company of kitchen appliance at that time. In the
    case an example was given by Linda Fleet is that,

    › In the paint texture design is a very popular in the world and its
       make profit for that company. But the same design is not
       growing more then 2 year. So they have to do some
       innovations in the design to growth in the sales.

    › So, as per the example I says that CDS have a great design in
       the kitchen appliances but they have make consist change in
       design with the innovative idea. this change will help them to
       continue its growth in sales & profit.
