How Do You Learn Best?*
NAME: Gregory Bazile
Auditory. Describe a recent class situation in which you understood the material by
hearing an explanation. You really got it! Rate how often this happens on a scale of 1
(almost never) to 5 (almost always). Explain why you think you got it or why you think
you did not get it.
Answer rate- 4, when It comes to math hearing and looking at an example is enough for
me to understand the material the next step would be to try the example out myself. I
think I understood it because I asked questions and listened with interest.
Visual. Describe a recent class situation in which you understood the material by seeing
the explanation. Maybe the instructor used pictures or a model. Whatever she used,
you really got it! Rate how often this happens on a scale of 1 (almost never) to 5
(almost always). Explain why you think you got it or why you think you did not get it.
Answer: 4, visual to me is just as good or maybe even better than just hearing the
material. It was in government class where the teacher was explain the judicial system
and he showed a diagram where it shows the certain branch in power. Looking at the
diagram helped me easily grasp the info.
Kinesthetic. Describe a recent class situation in which you understood the material by
physically doing something. Maybe it was a science lab or maybe you constructed a
model. Whatever happened, you really got it! Rate how often this happens on a scale of
1 (almost never) to 5 (almost always). Explain why you think you got it or why you think
you did not get it.
Answer: 2, when it comes to knowledge in the class room doing something is always fu
and I can almost always recreate it the way the teacher does but understanding it
completely is another story. I wont understand the base info by doing.
Environment. Describe the environment (climate, lighting, ventilation, sound) that
helps you to learn the best.
Answer: a nice cool room with a interactive teacher and a quiet learning environment
where the students ask important and entertaining questions related to the subject can
create the perfect atmosphere to learn.
