Natural forces reflection
1. Natural Forces Reflection
WildWeather Experiments:
My favorite weather experiment was the tornado in a bottle
because it shows how debris moves in a vortex. An important thing
I learned about weather was thatyou have to have a preparation
kit in your house in case of extreme weather. If I did more
experiments, I would like to know about landslides.
Scientific Report Writing:
I wrote scientific reports about air pressure, the water cycle,
static electricity and length. The easiest section to write is the
hypothesisbecauseyou only had to predict what would happen.
The hardest section to write is discussion because we need to type
how reliable your results are we also needed to writewhat happens
in the real world. I am proud of my report on tornadoes becauseit
was one of my favorite experiments and I had to think a lot about
the science behind it. While writing these reports, I became
better at making sentences longer and making them easy to read.
Research:
The natural disaster I researched was volcanoes.
During the research, I found it easy to find important information
but I found it difficult to find very detailed information.
I worked especially hard at finding the right images and finding
good websites for more information. The best source of
information was,THE BEST BOOK OF Volcanoes. If I wrote my
speech again, I would try to get more information and make the
speech informative.
Delivering My Speech:
I am proud of my documentary because it was my first movie with
a green screen. I worked especially hard at remembering my
speech.Next time I deliver a speech I will try to speak louder.
What else?
During this natural forces unit I especially enjoyed leaning about
volcanoes and other natural forces. After this unit, I might
continue toresearch on other disasters.
