Natural forces reflection
1. Natural Forces Reflection
WildWeather Experiments:
My favorite weather experiment was tornado making because it
was interesting to see the tornado when I shook the bottle
around. An important thing I learned about weather was that air
can make huge disasters. If I did more experiments, I would like
to know more aboutair pressure.
Scientific Report Writing:
I wrote scientific reports about air pressure, the water cycle,
static electricity and length. The easiest section to write is
hypothesis because I just need to predict what will happen. The
hardest section to write is the discussion because I need to write
all the sentencs about what happen.I am proud of my report on
lightning because I wrote the report myself. While writing these
reports, I became better at writing discussions.
Research:
The natural disaster I researched was tsunami.
During the research, I found it easy to write facts about
tsunamis.I found it difficult to find facts of cause, impact,
response and prediction/detection.I worked especially hard at
writing facts in dot points. The best source of information was on
impact. If I wrote my speech again, I would try to find more facts
to make it more detailed than now.
Delivering My Speech:
I am proud of my documentary because my friends helped me so,
it was teamwork.I worked especially hard at choosing parts where
my friends needed to speak.Next time I deliver a speech I will try
to memorize more.
What else?
During this natural forces unit I especially enjoyed highlighting my
part in the speech.Afterthis unit, I might continue to research
more about other disasters.
