2. RELIGIONS BELIEVED IN UTOPIA
Th. More states that the rightest religion is Christian
religion. However, in Utopia, everyone has the right to
believe in the religion which mirrors most himself. Humans
are guided by God in their lifepath and only with his help
they can follow the rightest way: everyone is master of his
own faith.
An atheist is ignored by Utopian, as he had ignored his
soul, but without being deprived of his idea from which
could born a new religion.

3. DEATH IN UTOPIA
THE IMMORTALITY OF SOUL
Thomas More believes in the immortality of soul.
When an utopian dies utopians aren't sad, unless the
soul hasn't gone away against its will: in this case
utopians bury the body praying God to apologize his
soul.
When dies an utopian that accept his faith, his body is
buried with happiness and only his happiest moments
are remembered, knowing that the deceased lives
around them, even if he can't be seen.

4. THE IMMORTALITY OF SOUL IN THE
“FEDONE”
Platone lists some proofs about the immortality of
soul:
● “The contraries” proof: in nature everything born
from its contrary, so also from death will born life;
● “The similary” proof: soul is similar to the Ideas,
which are ethernal, so it is ethernal too;
● “The vitality” proof: soul is a breath of life so it can't
be death.

5. PRIESTS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE
Priests, tirtheen in each town, are wise figure and are
choosen by people with a secret vote,
When a minister commits a crime, he will be only excluded
from religion because he is consacrated by God so it's
unjust to condemn him.
Even if they have different roles, Priests and Magistrates
conduct linked functions.
In fact ministers have to keep on the order and morality in
the religion field, while magistrates do the same for the
State.
The division between this two authority is typical of
Umanism.

6. THE PRAY
In temples there aren't effigies of God (everyone must
have the possbility to think about him how he preferes)
and the only name from which he is called is Mitra.
Mitra can have two meanings: friendship and
agreement, which are linked with the word "alliance".
Utopians don't sacrifice any animals because they believe
that if God has given then is only because they must
live. During the cerimony is acted a pray to thank God
for all the benefits given.
Besides, they pray because if they are wrong, following a
religion which isn't the best, God will show them the
right way, while if they are right he gives them the
power to never lose it.

7. THE IMPORTANCE OF RITUALS
It's important that everyone has right as an important
value because they are important when you are in
difficult. They are a certainty and they guarantee the
maintence of interior order in the society. This quote
taken from the book “The little Prince” , clear this
concept.
"It would have been better to come back at the same
hour," said the fox. "If, for example, you come at four
o'clock in the afternoon, then at three o'clock I shall
begin to be happy. I shall feel happier and happier as
the hour advances. At four o'clock, I shall already be
