3. INTRODUCTION
• Safe India is an android application.
• It Provides security to citizens in case of emergency like kidnapping,
accident or other unwanted events.
• Client has an android device with installed safe India application press a
single button and calls for help.
• Safe India app sends client’s location to main server in police control room
in case of emergency.
• A agent in Police control room receive this location and display in Google
map.
• Agent sends all information about sufferer to nearest police station
manually.
6. Main Modules
• This Project contains two modules.
– Module 1- client side application with GPS System.
– Module 2- System for police control room.
7. Module 1
• This module has a end user application.
• Client has a device called Safe India with GPS system to send emergency
message from the device to control room about some emergency
situation.
• The emergency message sent from the Safe India
will be received by a Servicing Agent in
the control room.
• The exact location of the person is plotted
on the Google map.
• In case of kidnapping continues tracking
can be done by servicing agent in control room.
8. Module 2
• An application installed on computers at police control room.
• This application is used by servicing agent to receive an
emergency messages from person who is requesting help.
• Message is received in following format
• After receiving a message from a person it locate location of
person on map and show emergency contacts registered by
person.

• Servicing agent collects information from emergency contact numbers.
• Servicing agent search the nearest PCR van and send location and brief
information about person.
• Provides a shortest path to PCR van to reach to person.
• EPSS has an active event’s list and remove completed events.

16. Limitations
• Difficult to explain EPSS to police men.
• Non availability of Android operating System in users phone.
• Non availability of internet in users phone.
• Non availability of GPS tracker.
• Low range Network areas.
(AVL) referred to as Automatic Vehicles Location is used to track and trace persons or vehicles using TETRA radios. Most TETRA radios are equipped with a integrated GPS receiver. The TETRA radio is able to determine its location and can send this information to the TETRA infrastructure were it can be forwarded to an end point which is in most cases a control room.
