A step by step guide to creating a pin hole camera
First of all, get your self an ordinary
Pringles tube. Cut it in half and use
the top part. The bottom can be
recycled away.
Then get the lid of the tube. Measure
a piece of black card o paper so that
you have half an inch around the
edge of the lid.
Once you have cut the card, you must
tape it round one end of the Pringle
tube. BUT make sure you don’t use
the lid under the card.
After you have secured the card to
the tube, you must make a hole in
the middle of the card. It’s best to use
a shape pencil.

Before you do anything with the
other end, cut a another piece of
black card and insert it in to the tube.
So that it lines the interior wall.
As you did with the black card, do
exactly the same with a piece of copy
paper. EXEPT hold the edge down
with an elastic band.
Cut a piece of foil that is big enough
to rap round the tube. Once you've
done this secure it on to the tube
using tape.
Once all these steps are completed, hold it up to a bright light
and hold something in front of it.
And you have created a Pin Hole Camera
