About “Empowerment English” This is a textbook of English teaching which includes lessons related exclusively to multiple problems faced by women in Indian society. The textbook is divided into two parts each divided into units. Part 1 1. Birth and Infancy 2. Childhood 3. Teenage Part 2 1. Womanhood 2. The Home and the World 3. Women Resource Development (WRD) 4. Twilight Years So, the titles of the units reflect different stages in the life of a woman. The lessons in this book aim not only at improving English language skills but also empowering women. Thus is the importance of the title.
