1. At first christianity arrived to britain, it was accepted by Roman Emperor in the
early fourth century and it started to spread in the Celtic areas. Christianity
controlled big areas.
Europe and england was included in the christian faith, and the first archbishop
was sent. He had good success because was accepted for ruling families in
England, but the ordinary people don't accepted all it. The archbishop, his monks
and obviously the Emperor were interested in establishing christian authority. They
brought that faith for the ordinary people and they also went walking around the
villages teaching it.
The faith was an important event in the state, because, with it the mind of the
people could be conveniently controlled by the government and church in England.
The bishops from Roman church lived at the court of the king and they created a
centre of power. there was two christian churches: Celtic and Roman. one of them
was interested in the hearts of the people and the other was interested in authority.
Christianity increased very quickly only little places don't accepted the new faith.
The new faith created a bridge with treat because, bishops gave power to kings
"Kings had God's approval" and started to conquer another kingdoms. the faith
gave a good power for king because they were chosen also for God. It made that
the English state increased the power. And growth the royal and church authority.
