Acknowledgement
Genuine appreciations to our lovely group members who are Tham Lek Mei,
Chua Wei Jie, Gan Jet Foong and Lim Chern Yie for their outmost investment in
making this extend a win. All of us have given our most effort to achieve this task
by expecting the outcomes as flying colour. Otherwise, we able to do this well
because of our instructor, Mr Shankar for furnishing us with the counsel, backing
and direction in helping us with this undertaking. Last but not least, we might
want to thank our friends to Jerry Chong and Andrew Ou by lending their hand to
assist us for assuming an extra part in this task. Without them, we could not finish
this in our planned routine.

Introduction
In this 20th
century, we can easily apply concepts of psychology into our daily
routine. It is part of our life. Every words we say, thoughts we think and behavior
we do are all related to the theories. This is how we find that Social Psychology is
a very attractive subject matter among other subjects. Social psychology is about
understanding individual behavior in a social context. It is a teaching that uses
experimental techniques "to comprehend and clarify how the thought, feeling
and conduct of people are affected by the real, envisioned or inferred vicinity of
other individuals.
Other than that, Social psychology is an addition of brain science that studies
people in the social surroundings. As it were, it is the investigation of how and
why individuals think, feel, and do the things they do relying on the conditions
they are in. It is also identified with humanism in this respect, however as
opposed to concentrating on meeting workings, for example, race and
socioeconomic class, it concentrates on the single person. Additionally, it depends
on the logical exploration to create the speculations of social conduct.
Therefore, we are requested by putting more than five concepts that we have
learnt into our video. We cannot find any problem about that because as already
mentioned earlier, everything we are doing is all related to those concepts. Thus,
we can easily recognize the concepts that we are using then fit into the video.
Then, the five concepts that we are presenting are Sexicism, Social Learning,
Aggression, Impression Management and Intrinsic Motivation. We are able to
present these concepts through a short 5-minutes video with all our group
members’ participation of acting in it.

Synopsis
When Jet was still a young boy, he had encountered with a lot of transgender
people. One of them is his parent’s best friend. The transgender, Fedrick
approached Jet and petted him.Jet grew up with his best friend, CY. Jet found that
he fell in love with CY during their teens.
After secondary school, both of them went to the same University. During the
class, CY met this beautiful lady, Jessyca. He fell in love with her on the first sight.
Jet was depressed and jealous. CY got very close with Jessyca and ignored Jet
most of the time. So he decided to tell CY he was going to migrate and they might
not be able to meet each other for a period of time. In fact, Jet went for a
transgender surgery in order to look like Jessyca and attract CY as a “Girl”.
Jet went back to University and tried to approach CY but he was ignored, because
CY was very close with Jessyca and almost become couple. Because of Jet’s
jealousy, he went to confront Jessyca at her house. Jessyca opened her door and
looked messy. Jet told Jessyca about his transgender surgery and his love for CY.
But Jessyca ignored Jet’s request to leave CY, she even threaten him that she will
tell CY about his best friend turned into a transgender and she even humiliated
Jet for being a transgender. Jet lost his temper and pull out a knife to kill Jessyca.
Few days later, CY found out Jessyca’s death and he was very sad. Jet tried to
comfort him.In a few months, they become unseparated and CY decided to
confess to Jet and make “her” as his girlfriend. One night after watching a movie,
CY sent Jet home. Jet pulled CY into the house and they started to have sex.
During the sex, CY realized Jet is a transgender and CY quickly left the house and
Jet sob in tears on the bed.
Few weeks later, Jet called CY to meet at the rooftop of the university. When CY
arrived, Jet sadly said: “I’ve killed Jessyca and actually I’m Jet! Goodbye my best
friend! ”. He climbed out the bars and jumped off the roof.

Method
Apparatus & Materials
We used DSLR camera to shoot this video, we also use some make up and dresses
on the guy to act like a girl/transgender who is ( Fedrick and Jet Foong). We had
choosen taylor’s campus , classroom, futsal court and Fedrick’s house as our
background for shooting. Jet foong is using knife to kill Jessyca.
Procedure
We have used Taylor University and Fedrick’s hostel as our main video shooting
place. We have chosen night time and weekend for video shooting, as it was
embarrassing for Jet to wear woman’s clothes when there was many people
around. We have also chosen classroom at higher level like 7th
or 8th
floor as there
is less people around. We have also shoot video at Fedrick’s hostel for the sex
scene using his bedroom. We also make sure that Jessyca have suitable woman’s
clothes for Jet to wear. All this preparation and procedure was made in order to
make sure the shooting can go smoothly.

Social Learning
First and foremost, the purpose of our group decided to use this concept inside
our video was to prove that the concept could be easily performed in our daily life.
According to Albert Bandura, the one who proposed the theory stated that
“most human behavior is learned observationally through
modeling from observing others one forms an idea of how new
behaviors are performed, and on later occasions this coded
information serves as a guide for action”. His hypothesis included a
social component, contending that individuals can learn new data and practices
by viewing other individuals.
Then, the way of how we applied this concept by showing inside our video was
the one of the scene parts that Jet decided to go for denaturation because of the
influential by his surroundings. Additionally, the one who surrounded him was
transgender most of them during his childhood prime. This is because he was
influenced by others by watching their behaviors and willing to follow the
pathway. Therefore, he chose to become a transgender by watching others
because he thought this was kind of must thing that human must achieve and a
parts of for their culture.
At last, social learning could be explained as a part of observational learning as
while it can occur sometime or another in life, it has a tendency to be the most
widely recognized throughout adolescence as youngsters gain from the power
figures and companions in their lives. It also shows an important role in the
socialization process, as children learn the way of behaving and responding to
others by observing how their parents and surrounding people interact with each
other.
8 | P a g e
Impression management
Impression management is a process in which people attempt to influence the
perceptions of other people about a person. It can be used while controlling
information in social interaction, such as how people will react to a physically look
of ourselves. It is usually used with self-presentation when a person tries to
influence the perception of their image. Ingratiation is a way to influence how
people think of ourselves. It is by controlling other's perception through flattery.
Another way is the spotlight effect, it is a belief that everything about us is
obvious to others through our appearance and behavior.
Our group used the concept of impression management in this video, it can be
seen during the scene when CY met Jessyca who was physically attractive. CY
immediately react to her when she walked into the class, he fell in love with her
on the first sight by her appearance, it is the spotlight effect used by Jessyca
because she was dressed attractively and used a lot of makeup. After that, Jessyca
turned around and winked at CY. She used ingratiation way by flattering when she
winked at CY.
In conclusion, impression management often used to impressed people's
perception of ourselves,it is clarified in this video through the character, Jessyca.
CY was felt to her due to his first impression.

Intrinsic Motivation
As our lecturer taught us about this concept, he said that intrinsic motivation
refers to inspiration that originates from inside an individual as opposed to from
any outside or external prizes, for example, cash or evaluations. However,
according to our basic research, there are several factors that will promote this
kind of motivation which are Challenge, Curiosity, Control, Fantasy, Competition,
Cooperation and Recognition.
There was a part inside our video that had showed this concept, which was the
some scene as Jet decided goes for denaturation to become a transgender. As
mentioned earlier, this scene used concept of Social Learning. However, there
was still Intrinsic Motivation concept involved inside for it. The scene was showing
that Jet willed to humiliate himself because of only for one person, who was CY.
“Himself” motivated him without getting forced by others and willing to take such
horrible dealing. Although he had expected that the whole world would look him
down for good, “he” still did not upkeep about the foresights of others and
sacrificed “himself” just to have more chances to interact with CY.Other than that,
the chance we were discussing about was CY would more focus on girls rather
than friends so that he would like to catch more attention from CY then he could
make a step closer to CY.
On summary, we could describe that Jet was motivated by the factor of Challenge.
Challenged person was defined as individuals are best inspired when they are
progressing in the direction of by and by compelling objectives whose
achievement obliges action at a ceaselessly ideal level of trouble. Jet was inspired
by himself and to achieve the satisfaction from CY.
10 | P a g e
Aggression
Through the video, we had showed aggression inside to it too. The term
aggression refers to an extent of practices that can bring about both physical and
mental damage to oneself, other or questions in the earth. The declaration of
hostility can happen in various ways, including orally, wisely and physically.
Likewise, the purposes of showing aggression are to precise anger, emphasize
dominance, prompt possession and reach certain personal goal.
In the video, Jet was the one who expressed aggression on Jessyca. One day, Jet
approached to Jessyca’s dwelling for the purpose of negotiating with her by
asking Jessyca to leave CY away with calm mood at first. But then, Jessyca was
showing off and teasing Jet that she had wonderful moments with CY recently
then she was displaying her discrimination on Jet’s character. Without any
controlling “his” temper after heard such humiliating words, “he” lifted the knife
that “he” brought without any hesitation then pushed down Jessyca. By then, she
used that advantage by killing Jessyca without any guilty. The first thing that came
to “his” mind was to kill Jessyca so that “he” could mix up with CY easily without
any obstacles.
For some evaluation, those people who tend to have lower IQs like Jet will
express aggression that is unplanned and uncontrolled. This means they will show
unintentional actions base on their actual thinking but without their control.
11 | P a g e
Sexism
Sexism is an attitude towards gender discrimination, it prejudice based on a
person's gender. Many cultures have very different values on men and women.
There are three types of sexism and the first is ambivalent sexism, which is the
combination of hostile and benevolent sexism. Next is hostile sexism, which
means the person is feeling negative and resentful towards the abilities of a
gender. The last type is benevolent sexism, it is an attitude when a person is being
friendly to another gender but actually feels negative towards the other gender.
In our video, sexism can be found during the sex scene. The night after movie, CY
sent Jet home then Jet pulled him into the house and they had sex. During the sex,
CY realized Jet is a transgender and he quickly left the house and Jet sob in tears
on the bed. CY was sexist when he found out that the girl was actually a guy, he
felt angry and rejected unknown she-male as his partner.
In conclusion, sexism is an act of discrimination against a transgender; it is define
by CY in the scene above. Transgender discrimination is discrimination towards
peoples whose gender identity differs from the social expectations of the
biological sex they were born with.

Discussion 1
During our first meeting, we discuss about this assignment and trying to
understand our task. After that, we divide our task, as Fedrick being
the script writer and cameraman, Jet and CY being the main character and Jessyca
being the make-up artist.
Discussion 2
This time Fedrick came up with an idea for the video it’s a story on a transgender
person. Another 3 of us brainstorm about what concept that we can used in the
video and we tried to modified the script based on the concept chosen. At the
end of the discussion we finalized the rough storyline and continue the detail of
the video after the discussion.
Discussion 3
Fedrick brief about the complete script and give and rough idea on how to shoot
it.
Discussion 4
We started video shooting.
Dicussion 5
During this discussion we discuss on which music to use in the video and who
being the one that narrate the video.
Discussion 6
We meet up again and do report.

  • 3. 3 | P a g e Acknowledgement Genuine appreciations to our lovely group members who are Tham Lek Mei, Chua Wei Jie, Gan Jet Foong and Lim Chern Yie for their outmost investment in making this extend a win. All of us have given our most effort to achieve this task by expecting the outcomes as flying colour. Otherwise, we able to do this well because of our instructor, Mr Shankar for furnishing us with the counsel, backing and direction in helping us with this undertaking. Last but not least, we might want to thank our friends to Jerry Chong and Andrew Ou by lending their hand to assist us for assuming an extra part in this task. Without them, we could not finish this in our planned routine.
  • 4. 4 | P a g e Introduction In this 20th century, we can easily apply concepts of psychology into our daily routine. It is part of our life. Every words we say, thoughts we think and behavior we do are all related to the theories. This is how we find that Social Psychology is a very attractive subject matter among other subjects. Social psychology is about understanding individual behavior in a social context. It is a teaching that uses experimental techniques "to comprehend and clarify how the thought, feeling and conduct of people are affected by the real, envisioned or inferred vicinity of other individuals. Other than that, Social psychology is an addition of brain science that studies people in the social surroundings. As it were, it is the investigation of how and why individuals think, feel, and do the things they do relying on the conditions they are in. It is also identified with humanism in this respect, however as opposed to concentrating on meeting workings, for example, race and socioeconomic class, it concentrates on the single person. Additionally, it depends on the logical exploration to create the speculations of social conduct. Therefore, we are requested by putting more than five concepts that we have learnt into our video. We cannot find any problem about that because as already mentioned earlier, everything we are doing is all related to those concepts. Thus, we can easily recognize the concepts that we are using then fit into the video. Then, the five concepts that we are presenting are Sexicism, Social Learning, Aggression, Impression Management and Intrinsic Motivation. We are able to present these concepts through a short 5-minutes video with all our group members’ participation of acting in it.
  • 5. 5 | P a g e Synopsis When Jet was still a young boy, he had encountered with a lot of transgender people. One of them is his parent’s best friend. The transgender, Fedrick approached Jet and petted him.Jet grew up with his best friend, CY. Jet found that he fell in love with CY during their teens. After secondary school, both of them went to the same University. During the class, CY met this beautiful lady, Jessyca. He fell in love with her on the first sight. Jet was depressed and jealous. CY got very close with Jessyca and ignored Jet most of the time. So he decided to tell CY he was going to migrate and they might not be able to meet each other for a period of time. In fact, Jet went for a transgender surgery in order to look like Jessyca and attract CY as a “Girl”. Jet went back to University and tried to approach CY but he was ignored, because CY was very close with Jessyca and almost become couple. Because of Jet’s jealousy, he went to confront Jessyca at her house. Jessyca opened her door and looked messy. Jet told Jessyca about his transgender surgery and his love for CY. But Jessyca ignored Jet’s request to leave CY, she even threaten him that she will tell CY about his best friend turned into a transgender and she even humiliated Jet for being a transgender. Jet lost his temper and pull out a knife to kill Jessyca. Few days later, CY found out Jessyca’s death and he was very sad. Jet tried to comfort him.In a few months, they become unseparated and CY decided to confess to Jet and make “her” as his girlfriend. One night after watching a movie, CY sent Jet home. Jet pulled CY into the house and they started to have sex. During the sex, CY realized Jet is a transgender and CY quickly left the house and Jet sob in tears on the bed. Few weeks later, Jet called CY to meet at the rooftop of the university. When CY arrived, Jet sadly said: “I’ve killed Jessyca and actually I’m Jet! Goodbye my best friend! ”. He climbed out the bars and jumped off the roof.
  • 6. 6 | P a g e Method Apparatus & Materials We used DSLR camera to shoot this video, we also use some make up and dresses on the guy to act like a girl/transgender who is ( Fedrick and Jet Foong). We had choosen taylor’s campus , classroom, futsal court and Fedrick’s house as our background for shooting. Jet foong is using knife to kill Jessyca. Procedure We have used Taylor University and Fedrick’s hostel as our main video shooting place. We have chosen night time and weekend for video shooting, as it was embarrassing for Jet to wear woman’s clothes when there was many people around. We have also chosen classroom at higher level like 7th or 8th floor as there is less people around. We have also shoot video at Fedrick’s hostel for the sex scene using his bedroom. We also make sure that Jessyca have suitable woman’s clothes for Jet to wear. All this preparation and procedure was made in order to make sure the shooting can go smoothly.
  • 7. 7 | P a g e Social Learning First and foremost, the purpose of our group decided to use this concept inside our video was to prove that the concept could be easily performed in our daily life. According to Albert Bandura, the one who proposed the theory stated that “most human behavior is learned observationally through modeling from observing others one forms an idea of how new behaviors are performed, and on later occasions this coded information serves as a guide for action”. His hypothesis included a social component, contending that individuals can learn new data and practices by viewing other individuals. Then, the way of how we applied this concept by showing inside our video was the one of the scene parts that Jet decided to go for denaturation because of the influential by his surroundings. Additionally, the one who surrounded him was transgender most of them during his childhood prime. This is because he was influenced by others by watching their behaviors and willing to follow the pathway. Therefore, he chose to become a transgender by watching others because he thought this was kind of must thing that human must achieve and a parts of for their culture. At last, social learning could be explained as a part of observational learning as while it can occur sometime or another in life, it has a tendency to be the most widely recognized throughout adolescence as youngsters gain from the power figures and companions in their lives. It also shows an important role in the socialization process, as children learn the way of behaving and responding to others by observing how their parents and surrounding people interact with each other.
  • 8. 8 | P a g e Impression management Impression management is a process in which people attempt to influence the perceptions of other people about a person. It can be used while controlling information in social interaction, such as how people will react to a physically look of ourselves. It is usually used with self-presentation when a person tries to influence the perception of their image. Ingratiation is a way to influence how people think of ourselves. It is by controlling other's perception through flattery. Another way is the spotlight effect, it is a belief that everything about us is obvious to others through our appearance and behavior. Our group used the concept of impression management in this video, it can be seen during the scene when CY met Jessyca who was physically attractive. CY immediately react to her when she walked into the class, he fell in love with her on the first sight by her appearance, it is the spotlight effect used by Jessyca because she was dressed attractively and used a lot of makeup. After that, Jessyca turned around and winked at CY. She used ingratiation way by flattering when she winked at CY. In conclusion, impression management often used to impressed people's perception of ourselves,it is clarified in this video through the character, Jessyca. CY was felt to her due to his first impression.
  • 9. 9 | P a g e Intrinsic Motivation As our lecturer taught us about this concept, he said that intrinsic motivation refers to inspiration that originates from inside an individual as opposed to from any outside or external prizes, for example, cash or evaluations. However, according to our basic research, there are several factors that will promote this kind of motivation which are Challenge, Curiosity, Control, Fantasy, Competition, Cooperation and Recognition. There was a part inside our video that had showed this concept, which was the some scene as Jet decided goes for denaturation to become a transgender. As mentioned earlier, this scene used concept of Social Learning. However, there was still Intrinsic Motivation concept involved inside for it. The scene was showing that Jet willed to humiliate himself because of only for one person, who was CY. “Himself” motivated him without getting forced by others and willing to take such horrible dealing. Although he had expected that the whole world would look him down for good, “he” still did not upkeep about the foresights of others and sacrificed “himself” just to have more chances to interact with CY.Other than that, the chance we were discussing about was CY would more focus on girls rather than friends so that he would like to catch more attention from CY then he could make a step closer to CY. On summary, we could describe that Jet was motivated by the factor of Challenge. Challenged person was defined as individuals are best inspired when they are progressing in the direction of by and by compelling objectives whose achievement obliges action at a ceaselessly ideal level of trouble. Jet was inspired by himself and to achieve the satisfaction from CY.
  • 10. 10 | P a g e Aggression Through the video, we had showed aggression inside to it too. The term aggression refers to an extent of practices that can bring about both physical and mental damage to oneself, other or questions in the earth. The declaration of hostility can happen in various ways, including orally, wisely and physically. Likewise, the purposes of showing aggression are to precise anger, emphasize dominance, prompt possession and reach certain personal goal. In the video, Jet was the one who expressed aggression on Jessyca. One day, Jet approached to Jessyca’s dwelling for the purpose of negotiating with her by asking Jessyca to leave CY away with calm mood at first. But then, Jessyca was showing off and teasing Jet that she had wonderful moments with CY recently then she was displaying her discrimination on Jet’s character. Without any controlling “his” temper after heard such humiliating words, “he” lifted the knife that “he” brought without any hesitation then pushed down Jessyca. By then, she used that advantage by killing Jessyca without any guilty. The first thing that came to “his” mind was to kill Jessyca so that “he” could mix up with CY easily without any obstacles. For some evaluation, those people who tend to have lower IQs like Jet will express aggression that is unplanned and uncontrolled. This means they will show unintentional actions base on their actual thinking but without their control.
  • 11. 11 | P a g e Sexism Sexism is an attitude towards gender discrimination, it prejudice based on a person's gender. Many cultures have very different values on men and women. There are three types of sexism and the first is ambivalent sexism, which is the combination of hostile and benevolent sexism. Next is hostile sexism, which means the person is feeling negative and resentful towards the abilities of a gender. The last type is benevolent sexism, it is an attitude when a person is being friendly to another gender but actually feels negative towards the other gender. In our video, sexism can be found during the sex scene. The night after movie, CY sent Jet home then Jet pulled him into the house and they had sex. During the sex, CY realized Jet is a transgender and he quickly left the house and Jet sob in tears on the bed. CY was sexist when he found out that the girl was actually a guy, he felt angry and rejected unknown she-male as his partner. In conclusion, sexism is an act of discrimination against a transgender; it is define by CY in the scene above. Transgender discrimination is discrimination towards peoples whose gender identity differs from the social expectations of the biological sex they were born with.
  • 12. 12 | P a g e Appendix Discussion 1 During our first meeting, we discuss about this assignment and trying to understand our task. After that, we divide our task, as Fedrick being the script writer and cameraman, Jet and CY being the main character and Jessyca being the make-up artist. Discussion 2 This time Fedrick came up with an idea for the video it’s a story on a transgender person. Another 3 of us brainstorm about what concept that we can used in the video and we tried to modified the script based on the concept chosen. At the end of the discussion we finalized the rough storyline and continue the detail of the video after the discussion. Discussion 3 Fedrick brief about the complete script and give and rough idea on how to shoot it. Discussion 4 We started video shooting. Dicussion 5 During this discussion we discuss on which music to use in the video and who being the one that narrate the video. Discussion 6 We meet up again and do report.
