The College of BankingandFinancial Studies(CBFS) isanadministrationassociationsetupbya Royal
Decree in1983 withthe maindestinationsof schooling,preparingandempoweringresearchin
bankingandmonetarysubjects.Itisunderthe juristicoversightof the Central Bankof Oman(CBO)
and isupheldbyall banksworkinginthe Sultanate.
The College hasbeenhelpingthe monetaryadministrationsindustrytomeetitsformative
necessitiesbyofferingscholarlyandinstructionalclasses,whichare customizedtothe arisingneeds
of Omanand has beenafunctioningaccomplice inthe nation'spushedtowardsOmanizationof the
financial area.The College asof nowhasmore than1500 understudiesseekingafterdifferent
scholasticandexpertcoursesinthe Departmentsof Professional Studies,Postgraduate Studies,
Under Graduate Studies,andEnglishLanguage Center.
Anothercentral space of the College iscorporate preparing.The Annual TrainingPlanof the College
for 2016-17 conceivesleading81courses for the bankingandmonetaryarea,in Muscat justas in
Regional Centers,coveringawide assortmentof subjectsinpractical andadministrative (delicate)
abilities.These coursesare plannedandconveyedbyfull time andvisitingpersonnel withhuge
operational andpreparingexperienceacrossdifferentdistricts/markets.The homeroompreparingis
enhancedbye-learning.
Moreover,the College supportsthe nearbyChaptersof fourprominentexpertbodies - ISACA
(InformationSystemsAuditandControl Association),ICAI(Institute of CharteredAccountantsof
India),IIA (Instituteof Internal Auditors)andACFE(Associationof CertifiedFraudExaminers).It
upholdstheirdrivestowardsProfessional informationsharingnearbylimitworkingintheirindividual
utilitarianregionsthroughperiodical classes/workshops.
