The students read about the myth of Atlantis and drew pictures inspired by the story. According to the myth, Poseidon fell in love with a woman from the island of Atlantis and turned it into a paradise. However, over time the people of Atlantis became greedy and corrupt. In response, Poseidon destroyed the island with an enormous wave, submerging it under the sea.
