2. Copy on your notebook these questions:
1.- What is perspective?
2.- What are the basic elements of perspective?
3.- What does the horizont line represent?
4.- What is the secnd basic element of perspective?
5.- What point does the horizot line determine?
6.- Where does everything in the drawing seem to disappear into?
7.- How does everything in the drawing get when it is long away of the
observer?
8.- If you extended the lines of the house, when do they tend to connect or
converge?
9.- How many types of perspective are there? What are they?
10.- Do vertical lines converge in a point in 2 point perspective?
11.- Why is distance between vanishing points important?
3. 1.- What is perspective?
- Perspective is basically the art of making two
directional art look three dimensional.
2.- What are the basic elements of
perspective?
- The horizont line and the vanishing point.
3.- What does the horizont line represent?
- The eye level of the observer in the drawing.
- The eye level where the observer is looking.
4. 4.- What is the second basic element of
perspective?
- The vanishing point.
5.- What point does the horizot line
determine?
- The point of view of the drawing. It´s the place
where you will find the vanishing point.
6.- Where does everything in the drawing
seem to disappear into?
The vanishing point.
5. 7.- How does everything in the drawing get
when it is long away of the observer?
- It gets smaller and smaller.
8.- If you extended the lines of the house,
when do they tend to connect or
converge?
- Towards the vanishing points.
9.- How many types of perspective are
there? What are they?
- One point perspective, two point perspective
and three point perspective.
6. 10.- Do vertical lines converge in a point in
2 point perspective?
- No. The vertical lines converge in a third
vanishing point in 3 point perspective.
11.- Why is distance between vanishing
points important?
- Because if the two vanishing point are so close,
it cause the drawing to look very distorted.
7. STEPS TO DRAW PERSPECTIVE
- Draw the horizont line.
- Pick the vanishing points, very close to the border
of the paper as it is possible.
- Create the first vertical line. It represents the corner
of the box.
- Connect each corners to vanishing point.
- Draw the 2nd. and 3rd vertical lines.
- Connect each corners to vanishing point.
- Darken lines.
- Marking the diagonals in order to determinate the
line in the middle of the lateral face.
- Connect the corners of the roof to vanishing point.
