1. Dear Recruiter,
Having had the opportunity to write investment reports, grants, proposals, and
even credit union exam evaluations, I am looking forward to working in an environment
where my business knowledge, analytical skills, team-oriented abilities and multilingual
capabilities can be used constantly. My time availability is unlimited and I am willing to
go anywhere assigned. I graduated from one of the top business schools in international
management, Thunderbird School of Global Management, which emphasized my
sensitivity and concern for many different cultures.
I grew up in a border town in Texas and became bilingual and bicultural almost
by default. As I graduated from high school, I seized the opportunity to attend St. Mary's
University where I earned my Bachelor's in Business Administration. Then I joined the
Thunderbird School of Global Management for my International MBA. From 2003-2006,
I had the opportunity to work for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in
Washington D.C. as a Management and Program Analyst where I supported multi-
disciplinary, cross-organizational Investment Analysis Teams in the development of
plans and decision-support information used by corporate-level management to establish
or modify National Airspace System (NAS) modernization and other major acquisition
programs.
From 2007 to 2008, with the goal of gaining international exposure, I accepted the
invitation to travel to Italy and Israel. Then, in 2009, I had the opportunity to join the
Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C. as a Grants Specialist where I
assisted in awarding funds for environmental and health needs. Next, in the fall of 2010,
I wrote and edited proposals and other special reports for the Computer Sciences
Corporation in Falls Church, Virginia. Then, in the summer of 2011, I became part of the
Department of Homeland Security Intelligence and Analysis Office at their headquarters
compound on Nebraska Avenue Washington D.C. In 2013, I also worked for the
Department of State at the Office of Private Sector Exchange Designation. Lately, I was a
Credit Union Examiner for the National Credit Union Administration. Currently, I am
willing to diversify and obtain analytical, team oriented working experience in new
environments and business related subject areas. That is why I present to you my resume.
People that know me say that I'm a caring, devoted individual and above all a fast
pace, adaptive learner. Yet, all I can say is that I give the best of myself everyday and do
not allow obstacles or barriers to keep me from reaching my goals.
Sincerely,
Evangelina C. Dominguez
